The Fetterman win really should not surprise me.
This is a state which thinks the insipid E-A-G-L-E-S chant is a spelling test and worships idiotic mascots like the Phanatic and Gritty.
They probably thought the hoodie wearing cretin was a new mascot.
It is said people get the government they deserve. Sadly it is true.

No argument. There will be some perverse fun in watching Uncle Festerman put on a suit and tie every day.

As an independent voter in Pa, I will vote pro-democracy and choice every time until the craziness lifts from the Republican Party. As a physician, I find Oz’s fleecing of people with snake oil sales for personal gain absolutely abhorrent. I am not sure how anyone could vote for a guy willing to do that. Just asking for more corruption of the government. Hopefully he will disappear back under his rock (in New Jersey) forever though more likely he will be hawking “vitamins” in ads on the Fox “News” channel for the next 5 years.

This. And, of course, "Republicans" know that. Which is why the entire platform is about cheating because they can't possibly win fairly. The demographics have passed them by. The dying gasps of an outdated "party."

Nailed it and stuck the landing. Nicely stated.

The big problem is that some states (Florida) have been allowed to gerrymander, while others (New York) have not due to differences in state constitutions and courts. As a result, you have a congressional steamroll in Florida and lots of close races in areas of New York that were safe before a court-imposed map. We need consistency- either total gerrymander across the board, or more balanced districts nationwide.

Former Bush speechwriter: “We had the worst inflation in four decades, the worst collapse in real wages in 40 years, the worst crime wave since the 1990s, the worst border crisis in U.S. History. We have Joe Biden, who is the least popular president since Harry Truman – since presidential polling happened – and there wasn’t a red wave. That is a searing indictment of the Republican Party. That is a searing indictment of the message that we have been sending to the voters. They’ve looked at all of that, and looked at Republican alternative and said no thanks. That is–the Republican party needs to do a really deep introspection look in the mirror right now because this is an absolute disaster for the Republican Party and we need to turn back.” Link

Hilarious.
