Not satisfied with moral victories. šš» Is losing by 20 to St. Johns now a moral victory? Is that how far we have fallen? Things got worse real fast. š

Looking more like a 20-point loss. What number will be higher? Our win total or 20+ loss total? The closer question is our 20-point loss total and 20-plus turnover total.

Iām surprised Colin was able to get so much run after getting his 4th early into the 2nd.

As others have pointed out weāre not even competitive against the bottom half of the league. I shudder to think what the games against the top half of the league are going to look like. At this point itās really hard to see where a conference win is going to come from. We are actually a nightmare for the conference. Beating us actually will bring down your SoS, and god forbid you lose to us.

Do not see any health issues in the second half. Ā Heās been VG. Georgetown players only have health issues when they play bad. If they play better in the next half or game there was no health issues. Been this way for years. Iām sorry man but that is not true. These guys play hard and have played through injury. Whatever you think of the team this sort of bogus accusation is WAY out of bounds. Seriously, you need to take a look in the mirror and think about if this is who you want to be and whether you shouldnāt just take your brand of āfandomā elsewhere. You should be ashamed.

Having the biggest negative point differential in Big East history is still on track! We can be record setters this year. You just have to believe!

Why is Ryan not playing? Is there issues with his D? He was in earlier in the game. His inside positioning needs work on defense, but covers well going out. Not really clear when he plays and doesn't. The team closes gaps and stretches leads when he is in.

Rough game. I was proud of the effort at a comeback in second half, but that was brief. Oh well. On to Providence.

Iām surprised Colin was able to get so much run after getting his 4th early into the 2nd. One of his last two fouls was a cheap call. He is a pretty good controlled defender and uses his fouls well (much of the time).

Before the conference schedule the Big East was one of only 2 conference that didn't have any Quad 4 games on the schedule. We torpedoed that in a hurry.

I am still happy to see the run that got us back in. The effort was there. I appreciate like most on here that these kids fight, especially the freshman to the end of most games...how can you not...the problem is it may be year 1 for many of these kids but it's year 5 for Ewing and we are past moral victories at this point. We need "real" victories at some point and a sign that this roster is growing in a positive way...

And there goes the confidence. Sigh. Aminu just not figuring things out. Aminu is so frustrating he has shown he has the skills and capabilities to do what is needed, but keeps going back to what doesn't work. He is likely having to break through years of horrible coaching and not being on a solid team where he could play as a team player. If he puts together what works he will be incredibly good, but he often hurts more than helps when he leans into what doesn't work. It isn't coaching as Patrick has been on him to stop the forced plays and flailing rather than focussing on getting shots to go, as well as better passes. Aminu's problem is that he had 5 stars next to his name. A lot of expectations come with it, right or wrong. Like our other freshman (and sophomores), he is making bonehead plays consistently. That comes with the territory with young guys. Aminu is no different. Some are trying to rush him to the NBA, but he has 4 years to develop. He has a good head on his shoulders and is confident in himself. He'll be fine.

My biggest gripe with him is that he is too often a black hole on offense, and not terribly efficient. Against Marquette his bad decisions were a run stopper, and again today. Unfortunately Hoyas allow a couple mistakes or missed shots to snowball, so when Aminu kills a run the effect is amplified. But if he starts integrating with his teammates on offense more, heād be a top 5 player in the conference, with incredible looking stat sheets.

Not really clear when he plays and doesn't. The team closes gaps and stretches leads when he is in. Barring yet another mass exodus Ryan is the future. His upside is much higher than either Tim or Wilson and i would rather play the kids with the highest upside and lose by 25 than sit them and lose by 20.

He's been on the floor twice tonight. Last couple of loose balls he is just standing above it and reaching. I know itās not our biggest problem but always a pet peeve for me. Going after loose balls is what we were known for back in the day under Pops. Every Hoya on the floor scrapping for the loose basketballs. Bill Raftery would always comment about it during our games.

Not really clear when he plays and doesn't. The team closes gaps and stretches leads when he is in. It is driving me crazy because he is the only big that can score. I don't have any confidence the other two can score outside of a dunk. It's really deflating to see Tim miss bunnies. Plus I believe Ryan needs the experience...
