Would be a huge get for the Hoyas. I know there is some feeling that it is Michigan, but fingers crossed anyway. It would be a MAJOR upset if it's not Michigan May made Trey a priority since day 1 on the job and Trey has been on campus several times this fall. Why does that never work for the Hoyas when a new Gtown coach comes in and makes a local kid priority #1?

He may well end up at Michigan… but why’s he waiting if it’s a done deal? He wants to have his day. Can't blame the kid. I hope that I'm dead wrong and he picks the Hoyas but it would be a massive surprise. As a Michigan football fan, I'm wondering if he can play QB

I say Georgetown v. Michigan on the gridiron, winner takes Trey. Michigan post-Harbagh has a hard time beating anybody!!! 😆😆

More bad news on the recruiting front via UM is that they are very confident in their chances of landing Oscar Goodman.

Because there is nothing to gain by waiting if he knows where he’s going. Unless he’s trying to drive up his price.

Do I understand the recruiting table accurately that we have one scholarship available for next year (Peavy) absent a transfer?

Do I understand the recruiting table accurately that we have one scholarship available for next year (Peavy) absent a transfer? NCAA is adding scholarships for most sports next year. MBB is getting 2 more, so 15 total. With nobody added for next year yet and only Peavy leaving (currently), we have 3 open scholarships.

Would we even need 15 scholarships? The end of the bench gets so few minutes as is.
And a Georgetown specific question would be, is there going to be an allowance made for Cooley to have 15 scholarships if he wants?

And a Georgetown specific question would be, is there going to be an allowance made for Cooley to have 15 scholarships if he wants? I think the real benefit is just what we are going to likely do. We know there's likely to be some transfers. But it's hard to recruit for freshmen if there isn't an available scholarship. So instead of having one for sure, we now have three. We can now recruit for likely losses without asking a kid to commit to a school that technically doesn't have one, or put schools in a place where they have to push people out or be unprepared.
