Who's dumb enough to go to Fox Prop for "news"? Former Fox News politics editor Chris Stirewalt joined CNN Tonight on Wednesday and spoke about being let go from Fox in January 2021 following outrage from viewers after he called the state of Arizona for President Joe Biden in the 2020 election. While Stirewalt didn’t blame Fox for his termination, he did say that the network has not served its viewers well. “I observed in these viewers and these folks, that they had been so deceived, and they had been so flattered, and they had been so coddled over the years,” Stirewalt said, “that when the ice cream dish was taken away, and me, Mr. Green Beans is put in front of them, and I said, ‘Well, too bad, Donald Trump is not going to get reelected,’ they were not ready for that.” Stirewalt, who spent 10 years at Fox, said he believes journalists have an obligation to the people of the United States. SOURCE: CNN, August 24, 2022 This guy sounds totally out of place at the Fake News Network.

Why would this be different from any of the other gibberish spouted by FC?

Go Dominion!! Spewing propaganda and lies on the tube is substantially different when you're under oath. Some of the biggest stars on Fox News are being compelled to answer questions about their coverage of the 2020 presidential election as a $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit from an election technology company that claims its reputation was ruined by the network’s airing of baseless fraud allegations picks up steam. Lawyers for Dominion Voting Systems last week questioned hosts Jeanine Pirro and Tucker Carlson, while Sean Hannity and former Fox Business Network host Lou Dobbs are scheduled for depositions Tuesday, according to court filings. They are among the on-air personalities that Dominion says defamed it either by falsely claiming the company conspired to rig the election against Donald Trump or by repeatedly hosting guests who made such claims. But Dominion has also deposed former and current Fox personnel who never subscribed to such claims — including longtime news anchor Shepard Smith, who left Fox nearly three years ago and now works for CNBC, as well as behind-the-scenes players like producers and bookers — in what appears to be an effort to probe the internal culture and reporting practices of the highest-rated cable news network. Dominion’s lawyers “seem to want to show a pattern of practice of Fox disregarding the facts,” said a person with knowledge of the deposition process, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to preserve a confidential process. For its depositions, Dominion seems to have zeroed in on former Fox employees who have expressed criticisms of the network, including Chris Stirewalt, a longtime political editor who was dismissed last year, and former contributor Jonah Goldberg. But it also deposed current employees, such as “Fox & Friends” co-host Steve Doocy, who rejected claims of election fraud. In November 2020, Doocy had pushed back on a guest’s assertion that Dominion software had thrown the election. www.washingtonpost.com/media/2022/08/30/fox-dominion-lawsuit-voting-carlson-hannity/

Give credit to Fox for knowing that their audience, generally, hasn't a clue what "fascist" means. But, they also know that their painfully stupid viewers hear "fascist" and they don't like it. It's like a small child and broccoli. They've never tasted it but, they know they don't like it. The only difference is, the child shouldn't be expected to know better. And, the child may, in fact, eventually try the broccoli. Fox viewers are very comfortable in their ignorance to the point where they wear it as a badge of "honor" and "patriotism." Eat the broccoli you morons.

Just in defense of kids not liking broccoli. Kids' taste buds are way more sensitive than those of adults. Broccoli has bitter elements that are amplified by that phenomenon.

Traitorous *ucker Carlson, a shill for Putin. A propagandist for Russia. Why the MAGA GOPers among us pay any attention to this despicable POS is a complete mystery to rational people. The Fox News host has been cited regularly on Russian television since the invasion of Ukraine in February, of course. A few days before, he’d been proclaimed “the most popular TV host in the U.S.,” a useful presentation of his authority, if a debatable one. Carlson’s views of the war have consistently been favorable to Russia — not surprising, given that in 2019 he explicitly stated that he preferred Russia win in its then-more-limited conflict with Ukraine. And that’s made him useful to the Putinites. This time, though, Carlson’s assessment aged particularly poorly. In the days since he scoffed at the idea that Russia was doing anything other than winning, Ukraine has swept into Russian-held parts of the country and pushed Russia back toward its own border. The Washington Post reported on the shift on Sunday: “In the end, the Russians fled any way they could on Friday, on stolen bicycles, disguised as locals. Hours after Ukrainian soldiers poured into the area, hundreds of Russian soldiers encamped in this village were gone, many after their units abandoned them, leaving behind stunned residents to face the ruins of 28 weeks of occupation.” There’s an obvious question that arises here: why, exactly, is Carlson so eager to present Putin as obviously winning? In part, it seems, it’s because of the bubble from which he broadcasts. As the New York Times reported earlier this year, Carlson’s show is increasingly the domain only of like-minded allies. So Carlson followed up his assessment of the state of the war two weeks ago by interviewing retired Army colonel Douglas Macgregor — someone even Fox News’s own Jennifer Griffin once described as an apologist for Russia live on air. Carlson’s untempered praise for the Russian war effort wasn’t simply a naive assessment of the war’s progress. It was an enemy-of-my-enemy play. The Fox News host has invested an enormous amount of energy since Biden’s inauguration in presenting the administration as a dire threat to the political right and to Americans more broadly. So when Biden says that maybe the war isn’t going as Russia expected, this is about clearing the way for Chinese global dominance, apparently. Despite China having already aligned with the Carlson-Putin side in the conflict. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/09/12/russia-putin-ukraine-tucker-carlson-biden/

How horrible of a person does one have to be to be influenced by Tucker Carlson talking about morality. If you see him as an authority on anything, much less morality, you have FAR larger problems than your disappointment that the oldest infant in the world lost the previous election.

MAGA GOPers please enjoy your propaganda network since delusion and lies are necessary to maintain an alternate reality. Lying liars are going to lie. And truly ignorant morons will believe the lies. ABC News and The Post last weekend published the results of a poll with some bad news for President Biden. What happened after that was a touch scandalous, if you believe Fox News host Dana Perino. “I thought it was amazing that ABC News would do this poll, commission a poll, work on the poll, and then not report on the poll,” said Perino in a Tuesday segment hosted by daytime anchor Martha MacCallum. “That was pretty amazing to me that they would bury it that way, because it is super bad news for the president, especially if you are going into a midterm election where things are close in many of the races: You don’t want everyone thinking that they want you to be a lame duck president before you even get through that.” The Erik Wemple Blog asked Fox News to cite the basis for Perino’s claim. Fox News declined to issue a statement on the matter. Perino is a Fox News veteran, having joined the network in 2009 as a contributor after serving as press secretary for President George W. Bush. These days she co-anchors the morning program “America’s Newsroom” — part of the network’s so-called straight-news side — and partakes in the afternoon roundtable “The Five,” where she often saves the discussion from lunacy and flights of fancy with a pointed fact or two. At a network whose prime-time anchors — particularly Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson — fashion frequent, vicious and baseless attacks on media outlets, Perino has long stood out as a relatively sane voice. And that’s precisely the point here. Not only did Perino whiff on the empirical question at hand — that ABC News didn’t report on its own poll — but she bundled that false suggestion with a mention that the allegedly suppressed material was “super bad news for the president.” With that commentary, Fox News’s cartoonish depiction of the mainstream media advanced another inch or two. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/09/28/perino-fox-news-abc-news/

Oh the irony. The man has literally zero common sense. He is dangerously limited from a cognition and insight standpoint. The only skill he seems to possess is the ability to egg on the base with anti-woke, anti-democratic talking points. Sadly it is the only skill necessary to be a successful GOP candidate these days.
