Fox’s Jesse Watters hot take on today’s shooting: “there’s a 100 billion in COVID funds. Couldn’t those be used to arm teachers and resource officers in school?!” WTF is wrong with these people? We are the most armed country in the world! Texas is the most armed state in the country! Please explain how more guns is the answer? I seem to recall an armed guard at the Tops market? Correct me if I’m wrong but that didn’t help! We already have more guns than people how is more guns the answer?

This is classic fox. Their headlines are always inflammatory and misleading. If you actually read the articles they are often more balanced and don’t really reflect the headlines. The problem is that they know that most of their “readers” don’t actually read anything beyond the headline which is actually what makes them so sinister. Invariably, 5/6 of the lede headlines will be some negative reflection of some democratic politician. There could be a verified landing of an alien spacecraft and some Kamala Harris dig would still be at the top of the page. It’s an awful place. |

There's a huge problem when our elected officials have no incentive to address something that 90% of the entire constituency wants addressed and, when they don't there are no repercussions. We're so polarized that "Republicans" will continue to elect people that don't represent or care for them at all. MTG is a great example. They're not representing us and, yes, one side is FAR worse than the other but it's not exclusive to either side. If these people continue to not do anything with regard to sensible gun reforms, please vote them out. Dems have wanted to move on this for a long while.
