I will not be totally disappointed if we get Rowan and not get Anglin although if I could only get one, I rather have Denver Anglim. Besides either of the two if we land one of them, we have to get a small forward. It is a must! So if we achieve getting that small forward via the high school level or the transfer level, we have got to pull that off. It seems we may be getting too guard heavy and thus making our team a very small team. This is Georgetown and ain't nobody got time for that! I wonder if the staff thinks both Denver and Rowan can both work in the backcourt together? Now that could be very interesting.

Bill Self throws out offers left and right. Way more concerned about this garnering the attention of other top schools. That said, guys over on the Maryland 247 board are hesitant to give him a UMD crystal ball because of us. Apparently Dad is a big fan of Ewing, and that dates back to before GU’s interest in Rowan FWIW

Isn't this the family who took the pic with Ewing and they all looked like they would rather be at a dentist's office? LOL

I always view it as a bad sign when a kid calls us University of Georgetown, instead of Georgetown University. I will gladly use the same logic on the University of Kansas. The Jayhawk logo he shared even has a KU on it - that means he doesn’t really care, right?

Apparently the kid knows the name of the school. But even more concerning is the school is even denser than I am and can’t get the initials right on the jayhawk’s jersey. How could you possibly call that a place of higher education?

In the recruiting world, the phrase "blowing up" referencing a recruit getting more attention, is often overused and inaccurate. This is not one of those times! We will see how important playing close to home is in the long run.

The Dad mentioned at one point living on P Street.

We will see how important playing close to home is in the long run. Duke, Texas and Kansas are all late to the game on recruiting this young man, but if one of those schools is a "dream" school for this young man, you really can't begrudge him at least considering offers from those schools. The young man has really impressed everyone with his play over the last few months or so and he deserves credit for playing well enough to get the attention of these programs. Hopefully the relationship the Hoyas staff has built with him is more important to him than the prestige that goes along with some of those schools. I guess we will see.

Doesn’t really matter unless they offer and even if they do depends on where he’s at in the pecking order. Duke is on a lot of high level guards rn.

When he is in town, RB is jamming with the guys in Yates or Thompson Center or wherever they are playing these days, so he is getting a real time chance to see and feel the team he would be on. Invaluable recruiting tool. Unless he wants to go elsewhere, not that there is anything wrong with that (but there is).

Brumbaugh is at the top of my list because of what he brings to the table at the PG position at 6'4...he's got a well rounded game and can be a great leader and setup man who can also shoot...I hope all this late attention and these auditions don't affect our longevity/interest in him and vice versa...would really like to see him in Hoya Blue and Gray...
