Now, Lee is outspoken about her status and using her new post at the helm of Georgetown Law School’s prestigious law journal to broaden and diversify the ranks of authors and student leaders. Lee, 26, is believed to be the first openly undocumented student elected editor in chief of the flagship journal at a top U.S. law school.

I have zero idea what is asked on applications for either undergrad or law school these days but DACA has been in effect since 2012 which enables kids to to apply and to attend colleges/law school schools with that status. Thus, I do not presume any lie on her applications.

Enacted by the Obama administration in 2012, DACA grants temporary protection to children brought into the U.S. by undocumented parents. In addition to deferring deportation, the program gives many undocumented students the ability to apply for work permits, obtain health insurance, and qualify for financial aid to pursue a college education.
