What a novel theory. What the hell is wrong with them, not being Biden's personal counsel?

The sociopath's enabler scumbag Bannon. Great job Republicans - this the scum that comprises your cult of personality. A sprawling online network tied to Chinese businessman Guo Wengui has become a potent platform for disinformation in the United States, attacking the safety of coronavirus vaccines, promoting false election-fraud claims and spreading baseless QAnon conspiracies, according to research published Monday by the network analysis company Graphika. The report, provided in advance to The Washington Post, details a network that Graphika says amplifies the views of Guo, a Chinese real estate developer whose association with former Trump White House adviser Stephen K. Bannon became a focus of news coverage last year after Bannon was arrested aboard Guo’s yacht on federal fraud charges. www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2021/05/17/guo-wengui-disinformation-steve-bannon/

We can only hope. America is inching closer to a possibility it has never seen before: the indictment and trial of a former president. on.theatln.tc/7dUFFhF

Donald Trump's former longtime lawyer and fixer said Wednesday that he believed the former president would "flip" on everyone, including family members, as New York investigators tightened the screws on the Trump Organization.

The grifter-in-chief just keeps on grifting. That's what they do and the ignorant fascist hypocritical Republicans continue to support the nation's greatest con man. Republicans are truly suckers and losers. Trump’s decision to charge the Secret Service rent appears unusual — both for a sitting president and now for a former one. Former presidents get Secret Service protection for life. But last year The Washington Post spoke to historians and representatives for recent presidents, and could not find another example of a president charging the Secret Service rent on this scale. The closest parallel to Trump was the man who succeeded him: Joe Biden. While he was protected as vice president, Biden charged the Secret Service $2,200 per month to use a cottage on his property in Delaware. In total, Biden received $171,600 between 2011 and 2017. Biden has not charged the Secret Service rent since becoming president in January, a White House spokesman said. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/trump-secret-service-charges/2021/05/20/d328eb5c-9d36-11eb-b7a8-014b14aeb9e4_story.html

We can only hope. My fear is that you need to drive a metaphorical stake through the sociopath's heart to ensure his political demise. But his deplorable cultists will survive and the sociopath's Big Lie will be the 21st century equivalent of the Lost Cause and will remain a continuing domestic violence threat to American democracy. On the Internet, former president Donald Trump is sliding toward something he has fought his entire life: irrelevance. Online talk about him has plunged to a five-year low. He’s banned or ignored on pretty much every major social media venue. In the last week, Trump’s website — including his new blog, fundraising page and online storefront — attracted fewer estimated visitors than the pet-adoption service Petfinder and the recipe site Delish. www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2021/05/21/trump-online-traffic-plunge/?itid=hp-top-table-main-0430b

More abuse of power by the sociopath's administration. An obscure security unit tasked with protecting the Commerce Department’s officials and facilities has evolved into something more akin to a counterintelligence operation that collected information on hundreds of people inside and outside the department, a Washington Post examination found. The office “has been allowed to operate far outside the bounds of federal law enforcement norms and has created an environment of paranoia and retaliation at the Department,” John Costello, a former deputy assistant secretary of intelligence and security at Commerce in the Trump administration, said in a statement for this story. www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/2021/05/24/commerce-department-monitoring-itms/
