We definitely have some good young pieces. I really hope this is what Aminu (and other recruits are seeing). This year is not our year, but we've seen 3 frosh show they could be good long term at least as solid role players - Kobe Clark, TJ Berger, & Dante Harris (and Harris might be more if he plays like last night). And Sibley was the highest ranked but appears to be a bit more of a project. Add Wahab to that group and that's 4-5 real solid current pieces for the future. Add in the 4 recruits coming in and that's a strong 8-9 man rotation. An elite recruit like Aminu could put us top 25 real quick.

He would thrive in this offense and would pair very well with Dante Harris. Also, think of the assists that would be available with Berger spotted up around the perimeter. GO AMINU GO HOYAS! I know he's listed as a guard and certainly would be in the NBA but I bet he spends most of his college times as a SF. Kid is 200 pounds and super athletic. Imagining him, Harris, Beard, Riley and Berger playing the 1,2 and 3 in different combinations sounds amazing and that is not even including Clark and Sibley as 3/4's...

Can't help but create a story in my mind about the timing of his announcement and Dante's explosion onto the scene.

It was confirmed last night that the’20 kids can play and the ‘21 class is highly regarded. Time to sign!

It would cover all eight days! Sadly...I think it might take a Chanukah-like miracle.

Why "sadly...take a miracle"...that's an awfully negative view...you really think its a longshot? I genuinely think that G'town is his best destination for many reasons, although I'm not objective...Come home, Aminu!

Until I see a couple of crystal balls come our way. I’ll remain skeptical. I have no inside info of any kind other than the staff remains hopeful.

I really hope this one falls our way but he and his guardian seem to have spoken most positively about Georgia and that's the only Crystal Ball and Rivals prediction. Still a great class either way.

Most of my "inside info" comes from this board and folks like B &G. However, I do have an acquaintance who actually is a professional insider, and does the Crystal Ball stuff. He told me its possible, but unlikely, he ends up on the Hilltop...which I guess is the prevailing wisdom.

Appreciate the compliment...but I used to have much more inside info than I do now. Just another passionate poster.

And they were 96 last year. They also just had the first overall pick in the draft at SG Who was also arguably the # 1 player coming out of high school. Not like Crean worked some magic -- Anthony Edwards maintained his status.

Good players want to be associated with good players. Selling a recruit on a player who went #1 OA is a lot easier than trying to sell a freshman pg who has had one good game. I hope he picks Hoyas but let’s not overestimate our current frosh based on the SJU game.

We should just be clear on the fact that as of this moment there is only one crystal ball prediction for Aminu. Doesn't that argue for the fact that most experts don't have much more of a clue about what is going to happen than we do?
