@yaboynyp What’s your assessment here? How much of a project do you see? He seems to have intriguing size, strength and an ability to play inside or outside.

He has some nice skills for a kid his size for sure. I'm not expecting much early on from him, but he might surprise. Biggest issue right now is him understanding that regardless of result the effort should always be there. Like most freshman he also needs to take advantage of the strength and conditioning program as much as possible.

Sounds pretty similar to Derrickson tbh but he also came in strong after focusing on his conditioning to end his HS career. Would you say his current skills are more post focused or does he have a face up game?

He had weight issues early on but he always went hard regardless. Of the 3 mentioned his game is probably most similar to MD, but I don’t think their games are similar tbh.

Blowout win for Jalin's team. Think he ended up w/ 14.

I know these are only highlights, but he looks very comfortable with the ball in the high post. Not only scoring it, but also seeing the floor and making the right pass. That is skill the current team struggles with. Encouraging!!!

Liked his passing, dribbling, smooth shooting, aggressive moves, dunks...

Is JBills a legit 6'7" or a HS 6'7"?

He had 30 maybe 32. Best I've seen him play this year but comp was weak.

For some reason he reminds me of Carmelo Anthony!
