With his defense, cat like reflexes/instincts and long arms, does he remind anyone of...oh never mind. I sure do miss basketball. Any chance of him starting as a Freshman? With the roster we currently (will) have, he's a definite starter. Maybe if we add a PG like Collins (or a diff G/W like Mohammed) or guys like Carey & Clark show very strong this year, it's possible he's a 6th or 7th guy. Either way, he's almost assured of significant minutes from Day 1. Definite starter over Juggy? I say definite in the rotation...

Back in the day, I had the fortune of seeing Iverson and Tony Rutland together in the back court. One of the best high school back courts I have ever seen. Same type of quickness and basketball IQ. Knowing where your teammate is the entire time and being able to blow by their man at will.

Which duo was the best? I've only seen Iverson and Rutland on just a view Youtube highlights.

Don't mean to hijack the page, but both were very good. I wish Iverson and Page could have lasted longer, but.... If we get Collins, and their chemistry (Riley and Collins) can be anywhere near this, we will be alright.

I think the odds are there will be none and Blair will have eligibility in 2021-2022. I don't know why that's being discounted or treated as a joke. The University just uninvited RAs from campus.

I don't know why that's being discounted or treated as a joke. The University just uninvited RAs from campus. There IS a very real chance that next season doesn't happen, but the repercussions of that are so difficult to fathom at this point that it almost doesn't make sense to try to think them through in every thread. If the season doesn't happen, will seniors get an additional year of eligibility? Will scholarship limits be somehow relaxed? Will a graduating senior like Blair want to come back to school for a 5th year rather than moving on to make money somewhere? If he stays in school, would he stay at Georgetown or grad transfer? This assumes that the season is cancelled rather than shortened, delayed or altered in some other way. There are so many different scenarios in play at the moment that I don't think we can reasonably expect anyone to cover them all in every topic. It's like every post should have a giant asterisk with a footnote that says "Assuming the 2020-2021 season is played as expected."

Nobody.

“Really close – really close,” his father Monty told The Post. “Love Mike Anderson, love Van Macon, love TJ Cleveland. They were great. Don’t think this was an easy decision. As I’m talking to you know, we’re still thinking, ‘is this the right decision.’” Riley said Georgetown head coach Patrick Ewing and assistant Louis Orr were in constant contact with him and he liked the campus after getting to see it a few weeks on a road trip. Brentwood assistant coach John Garcia is familiar with Orr, playing for him at Seton Hall. Riley came to a decision on Sunday, yet most of the week experts were picking St. John’s as his choice, which made him think the Johnnies would have been the popular choice.” “Would you go to a team that already has a quarterback and you want to be the quarterback?” Monty Riley said, referring to the presence of soon-to-be St. John’s freshman Posh Alexander. “That was one of the deciding factors.” Long Island’s Jordan Riley picks Georgetown over St. John’s“For Brentwood (N.Y.) combo guard Jordan Riley, it was important to pick a college where he could have the opportunity to showcase his abilities early and be in a system that would allow him to flourish; but just as important for Riley was who he’d be showcasing those abilities under. On Friday, Riley opted to learn under the tutelage of NBA Hall of Famer and Georgetown head coach Patrick Ewing. Riley picked the Hoyas over Kansas, St. John’s, Florida State and Connecticut. When asked how big a factor his relationship with Ewing was in his decision, Riley said, “Very big.” “Not only was he calling me the whole time, when I go there, I can trust him as somebody that can look after me,” Riley said. “He was like ‘You made my day!’ He was happy.” Ewing’s emotion is understandable considering Riley’s potential. Riley is a super athletic guard who scores on all three levels efficiently and delivers momentum shifting “wow” plays.” Elite 2021 Guard Jordan Riley Commits to GeorgetownDid we really beat out Kansas? or is that K State?
