Yawn.
Another Jordan slurp fest. No thanks.
Hopefully, curling has resumed by then.

Just looking at the ‘87 draft when Scottie Pippen was picked 5th. Just ahead of him was Reggie at #4.

Drafting, like recruiting is a role of the dice, you can't truly predict how good someone will be. Crazy thing is there were no pictures, video or photos of Scottie even the day before and day of the draft till the draft show. He was this mythical figure that nobody had seen or heard of. He was touted as a 6-8 country boy from Arkansas named Scott Pippen who was tearing up the Portsmouth and Chicago pre draft combines with his versatility, outside shooting and handles. Envisioned the second coming of Larry Bird from French Lick.

You guys watch Basketball County: In the Water? It’s a KD production about hoops in Prince George’s County on Showtime. Green, JT2 and Sweetney are in it.

So what did you all think? I thought it was excellent. Incredible old footage and some great stories about that Bulls Dynasty, lot of egos that needed massaging and eventually Jerry Krause's ego won out. Jordan's pathological competiveness made him the greatest player of all time and not necessarily a nice guy but I'm sure if you were a Bulls fan at that time you could care less about his liability.

So what did you all think? I learned that, in addition beating Patrick in the ‘82 final, I learned that Patrick holds the record for the hall of famer who MJ knocked out the playoffs the most times (4).

Excellent in so far as it revealed the subplots. I also realized how much I missed the game I grew up with - value of low post play; value of the mid-range jumper; defense; physical play without a whistle; players who had a true disdain for one another on the court; winning at least as valuable as the money.

I was disappointed that they didn’t have Roundball Rock which is so associated with the 90s Bulls.
They had all the other music so was expecting it.

Really like all the sports docs where the now older players get to talk about what they were thinking and what was going on behind the scenes during the games. For example, I thought the backstory on why Jordan seemed to hate Majerle was hilarious.
