Excellent - beginning a return to normalcy and working for the health of the American people, whilst the Emperor fiddles.

To me the insanity is that the discussion in the country is about whether trump will leave the Presidency. The daily discussion should be about the fact the he has disdained following the guidance of his own CDC and should personally be financially responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of dead americans. Instead of sitting watching for the outcomes of frivolous lawsuits trying to rescind legal votes, democratic minded trial lawyers should be lining up for blocks outside each courtroom waiting to file the wrongful death lawsuits against the soon to be former President. I suspect many governors who have refused to follow the reasonable and science based recommendations of the CDC should also be being sued. Perhaps knowing the president has immunity until January 20th, those lawyers are waiting to get in line at the courthouses until that date approaches.

I suspect many governors who have refused to follow the reasonable and science based recommendations of the CDC should also be being sued. Perhaps knowing the president has immunity until January 20th, those lawyers are waiting to get in line at the courthouses until that date approaches. This is a point well-taken. But, the reason it isn't is because Trump never attempted to do thing 1 to protect his constituency from exactly what is happening right now. Quite the contrary, in point of fact. We've known since March (at the latest) that Trump and his administration didn't give a rip and we were all on our own and responsible for our own safety as the federal government continued to downplay the severity and berate scientists that contradicted their stance. This is how far we've fallen. We're close to the losing the number of Americans per day that we lost at Pearl Harbor and that has become tacitly "acceptable" to those on the Right. If that was a day that will live in infamy, WTF is this? They'll go so far as to tell you that, "no one could have done better," while faced with the glaring, objective fact that, literally, not one leader on the planet has come close to performing so poorly. But, again, they'll probably overturn Roe so, apparently, any cost is acceptable. Similarly, they aren't swayed by their party leaders actively trying to subvert and subjugate our electoral process and our democracy. All, apparently, the cost of doing business for them. Keep in mind, they'll also say that the Left needs to reach out to them to promote understanding because the "elitists" don't understand them. Seemingly, there's nothing to understand. They feel left behind and forgotten and will allow absolutely anything in order to feel a bit more heard. I won't ever understand that because it's not tethered to any version of reality and lacks a shred of integrity or moral compass. Rot with your loss. Expect more losses because you folks are lost.

Rick Scott! Come on down!!
Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) said Friday he has tested positive for the coronavirus, making him the second senator to announce positive test results this week.
Scott said he came into contact with an infected person after returning to Florida on the evening of Nov. 13 and has been quarantining at his home in Naples since

Andrew Giuliani! Come on down!! Our 90k per year "sports liaison" in the White House!!
Andrew Giuliani, the son of Trump’s personal lawyer Rudolph Giuliani, said Friday he has tested positive for the coronavirus.
The younger Giuliani, a White House official, tweeted: “I am experiencing mild symptoms, and am following all appropriate protocols, including being in quarantine and conducting contact tracing.”
Giuliani is the latest Trump administration official to contract the virus. Earlier this month, five Trump aides and the president’s chief of staff, Mark Meadows, received positive test results. As with the previous outbreak, the reported infection could lead to the quarantine of a wider circle of people who were exposed to Giuliani.
