Charlie Baker, though a Republican, is not a crazy Trump cultist like Ducey, Abbott, and DeSantis who are getting their comeuppance. Gov. Hogan of MD is also a sane and very popular Republican in a Democratic state.

I think it's not really the Governor, although Baker has done a fantastic job - you need people to listen. A population that is going to listen to the science is going to do better than a population that wants to fight science because they equate it with "elitists".
My favorite COVID-19 protection so far is what our library is doing. You can get books online through the library through the Kindle, but my kids are only into physical books. You place holds online and the librarians check them out for you, put them in a grocery bag, and you are allowed to pick them up by coming to the door of the library - which is blocked by an 8 foot table. The librarians push the bag at you across the 8 foot table using one of those three foot car ice scraper sticks.

Yes, but if you're listening to your governor who's saying listen to the experts, that would make a difference. I infer you are saying folks in AZ. TX, and FL are anti-science. Elitist!😉

Congrats, Trump cultists. Your sociopath has set a new record! Huzzah! The United States tallied its largest single-day total of coronavirus infections Friday since the start of the pandemic, 57,497 confirmed cases, as President Trump is set to attend a firework display at Mount Rushmore National Memorial in South Dakota, where the anticipated crowds won’t be required to wear masks or practice social distancing. www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2020/07/03/coronavirus-update-us/

I’m not sure how Trump is going to avoid catching this thing.

Are we still supposed to be blaming China. or? Or the Democrats. Both equally acceptable, apparently.

Fine job, Trump cultist Governors!! President Trump deserves a good deal of the blame for playing down the pandemic and goading governors to reopen. However, it was these states’ governors who arrogantly defied expert advice and replete warnings about closing down too late and opening too soon. They ultimately made the decision to follow Trump’s horrendously dangerous advice. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/07/06/here-are-governors-who-hurt-so-many-so-needlessly/

While the racist sociopath continues to use racist terms to describe covid-19, this Chinese immigrant materials scientist who was instrumental in developing the N95 volunteers his research to help the country. When the novel coronavirus began gripping the globe in March, Tsai was summoned from his short-lived retirement. He was in urgent demand because he is the inventor who, in 1995, patented the filtration material used in disposable N95 respirators. www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/2020/07/07/peter-tsai-n95-mask-covid/
