Staying with the currently immobile Yurtseven has cost this game. St. Johns has been going at him the last 6 makes. Just wondering why Ewing has stuck with Yurt7 for so long? As if he doesn't see that Yurt is a liability on the floor. Not sure. I was thinking Patrick was looking ahead to get Yurt ready, but then it got rediculous.

I should know better than to start clearing my schedule for noon tomorrow when we are up 15. This one’s on me. What were you thinking?

Slowing the game down did cost us. Too early to milk it. Pops and JT3 did the same. Bit them many times. The game slowed to a the point where the Hoyas went into a scoring drought. The thing is it wasn’t necessarily a bad strategy given our propensity to do boneheaded things and turn the ball over. But I thought the whole point of putting Yurt in the game in that situation was the post him up and let him go to work. If the double comes, pass out of it for the open 3.

At least to start next season we dont have to argue McClung versus Blair in the starting 5. He has been awful down the stretch.

Blair has been horrible shooting last 6 games. Some fatigue And good teams but he also just missed a lot of shots. Hard to hide but hope he also finds consistency next year.
3-16 3-14 8-23 5-15 7-18 1-10
27/96 or 28% to close out the season.

Well the wheels certainly came off in the second half.
20 TOs.
15 offensive rebounds given up.
Allen cramping up killed the offense.

Just an epic collapse.
This has been a season unlike any other. I’m going to call it the Lost Season and move on.

First post in years! That was a Georgetown masterpiece. I love how Coach Ewing waited until St. John’s had scored 18 straight points before calling timeout. The man is a Hall of Fame player and totally overmatched as a coach in every respect.

Agree. Time for some changes on the coaching staff. As a double alum if I don’t see progress soon time to relegate program to the IVY league if they’ll take us

Can something be both unbelievable and totally expected at the same time?

Whelp, it has been an absolutely crazy season with things I've never seen nor imagined I would ever see. Playing most of the season with 7 players or fewer and only two the starters the last 3 weeks were starters at the start of the season.
Here's to a less crazy season next year and some great additions in the off season.
Deep thanks to Mosely and Allen, you guys will be deeply missed.

How many said he deserved a head coaching job? Maybe GMs and owners knew what he is.

leaving Q on the bench to play a guy that is obviously out of shape is basically coaching malpractice. this loss is totally on ewing I agree but I believe more than not playing Q the issue was slowing the game down...you can't tell our team to stop shooting with 8mins left...you keep the same game plan until the 3min mark...

We had a 94% winning probability on two separate occasions:
Up 15 to start the half Up 10 with 6 mins to go
Pretty much sums up what a clusterf**k this year was.
