Game time has changed to 7:30 - I read that somewhere to comply with some covid protocol unless I've gone senile which is possible! I can't find where I think I read it. So never mind. Game tips around 7:01.

I really hope Kobe is ready to go for this game. It's gonna be even tougher when the Johnnies are getting the home cooking...

His effort, energy and scrappiness will help out in games like last night, when the play is ragged. He also seems to be another capable ball handler for his size, which will help against the constant pressure.

Obviously Kobe didn't get into either of the St. John's games. Does anyone have any updates on his injury status?

Patrick said in the pre-SJU presser that the boot was off and he would be easing into practice this week.

Why did he only get 4 minutes? Is he hurt again?

Very active. 2nd half Sibley seemed to get the minutes at the 3 instead and Pickett played the full 40. We actually won the 2nd half. So maybe coach went with what he thought was working better...? Considering comments about and PT for Clark prior to the injury, have to think he’ll get more minutes as he gets further from the injury.

He had some very impressive passes (and one really bad one) that won’t show up in that stat sheet because people didn’t convert on their shots. Love his and Berger’s feel for the game. Hoyas are going to have some really heady players moving forward.

Hoyas are going to have some really heady players moving forward. Agree with this. But for some reason Ewing sticks with very un-heady players like Bile and Pickett (and before he left, Jalen Harris).

Does anybody know if Clark has any lingering injury keeping him off the floor, or whether he's just not playing? We haven't seen him now for quite some time. He's played 9 minutes in 2021, and hasn't played since 3 minutes against Creighton on February 9.

No idea what he can do on O but I think his rebounding and D could be useful next year.

I assume they’ve shut him down for the season I guess if this is the situation, then it does solve the mystery about what happened with Kobe. He looked like he was going to be the #1 freshman in that early game they played when he did an amazing job rebounding and showed great energy on the floor. He had that ankle injury and never seemed to come back from that, so I guess a more severe injury makes sense. It is a shame, because he looked like he would have a role on this team. I thought that even after the injury Coach Ewing was complimentary of his effort in practice, but he may have gotten injured again since then. Has he been dressed on the bench lately? I don't recall seeing him on the bench during the DePaul game, which if he has been shut down makes sense because you would not have a player travel to an away game if you knew he could not play. If he has been shut down because of injury I wish the young man well in his recovery and hope he comes back strong next year.

I feel like I've seen him on the bench lately (although not sure about the DePaul game specifically). From what I've seen, he's been cheering his teammates on and wearing the John Thompson t-shirt over what I assume is his jersey. Couldn't see his feet though so idk about a boot, crutches, etc.
