Can someone post the schedule to the board for those of us who don't have access to personal email from work.

Georgetown begins play this year in arguably the toughest men’s basketball conference in the country. With Cincinnati, DePaul, Louisville, Marquette and South Florida joining the new BIG EAST conference, the league now consists of 16 teams. Each team will play a 16-game conference schedule. Teams will meet 10 opponents once and three opponents twice.
The Hoyas will host traditional conference opponents Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Providence, Rutgers, St. John’s, and West Virginia. Also playing at MCI Center this year will be conference newcomers Cincinnati and South Florida.
Georgetown conference road games this season include Connecticut, Notre Dame, Villanova, West Virginia and St. John’s. As well as new comers: Marquette, DePaul and South Florida. The Hoyas will not play Seton Hall or Louisville this year.
Dates and times for the games have not been finalized.

I got this email too, which, considering I'm a student, and not a HHC member, means they are sending them out to the students too? I think that would be a good idea, personally.

I'm kinda upset that we're not playing L'ville this year . . . mainly because for some reason I really like Larry O'Bannon. Did he graduate already?

O'Bannon graduated...or at least ran of of eligibility. Then I don't care. Good schedule all around, IMO.

Maybe we can at least get 2 wins out of it. With the tough out of conference schedule this could be very good for us even though its not an exciting matchup.

Every home game on this schedule is winnable - the only really tough road games will be Nova and UCONN. ND will be tough too, but they don't have any one but Francis back.

Actually our home schedule is rather easy when you consider that Pitt, Cuse, and WVU are going to have rebuilding years and be missing some names we've been used to hating, Providence doesn't have Gomes, and Cincy will be in dissaray due to their coaching situation and player suspensions.

I wouldn't underestimate Cincy - Huggins seems to be holding things together pretty well.

Notre Dame may have more talent this year than last -- and while Chris Thomas could win a game singlehandedly, he could lose one that way as well.

Yes, I get to bring the Cincy shorts I bought in high school and finally tear them up. I have to admit that I had Cuse shorts in high school also but once I got accepted to GU I wrote anti-Cuse stuff on them in marker and then eventually cut them up. Yeah Im a bit fanatical and crazy sounding about this stuff, haha.

Great schedule for Chicago-area Hoyas fans, with games @depaul, @nd, and @marquette.
I've already contacted HHC about group tickets. We'll definitely do a GU Club of Chicago "trip" to DePaul (I call a rush-hour drive on the Kennedy a trip!). Hopefully, ND and Marquette will both be weekend games, making it easy for everyone to go. As dates get finalized I will gauge interest.
