Did you see the game? I'm guessing not. Shockingly enough the meme I posted was not supposed to be an erudite analysis of the current state of our football team nor their most recent performance.

# reasons contributed to loss. injuries - (tate, brunell and bowers), Fordham ran the ball well, our special teams - 3 missed 2 pt tries and a blocked punt resulting in a TD. all that said, we were in position to win. GU had the ball deep in their territory (late in Q4) looking to run the clock out. we were 3rd down 5 yards to go.(if we get a 1st dn - game over) we throw a pass (Fordham is not allowing us to run) - complete to our TE - it nets 3 yards. - why not throw the ball downfield? we had success all day throwing to #5 and 11. why not at that time go for the win?? on 4th down - we run the qb option (again) Fordham had 7 / 8 guys in the box and a LB shadowing our qb - no chance. why not throw it downfield ?? lose by getting (or trying to anyway) the ball in your best players hands- that you can live with. its disappointing. with all that went wrong we actually were in control (scoring 2 TD's after falling behind by 8 points) and we lost. 5 games left - hopefully we make the adjustments and move on
