We had a lot of interest early. Broadus and III watched him alot last season, but grades were an issue and still from what I here. 6'9 215. an animal on the glass, freak of an athlete, but not much else. Macklin better.

Never thought I'd see a X-Clan quote on Hoyatalk. You took me way back with that.

Hey, I'm old school all the way. It was either that or Doug E. Fresh or Eric B, & Rakim.

Just putting it out there I know we arent in the running for D.J. Augustine anymore, but he narrowed his selection to two- Texas and LSU.

We had slipped a little, then once we signed Rivers that was it. At 6'4 Rivers' creates mismatches at the point. III loves that.

I've heard of them, should i take a look at 'em? Which albums...? They've only got two, and you can't go wrong with either one. I like Xodus slightly better, but they're both quality.

Mohagany was the best. Man, that song is a classic by Rakim. I liked the video for "The Ghetto". That was tight too. That Let the Rythm hit em album is a classic. "I Ain't no Joke" was another favorite. Ra sounded like a computer with the flow, his flow was so perfect on that song. Ra was on another level. For 1986, 87,and 88, it was Ra, Kane, G Rap, and KRS at the top.

In addition, my joint was "The Symphony" w/ G Rap, Masta Ace, Craig G and Kane. Best posse cut ever!!!! 1. Rakim 2. Everyone else
Most influential: Run DMC, PE, PAC, NWA
My Favs: Rakim, EPMD, NWA/Cube, Kane, Run DMC, Pac, Biggie, Slick Rick
Now: Common, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Kanye West
From 87-92, the best era in hip hop. Period.
