Where is Georgetown? Not in his top 25. He is missing something big!

Duke at #4 is laughable. One returning starter, who could not hit a shot to save his life in the tournament, and the #4 recruiting class (with no consensus top 5 / 10 players) doesn't equal the #4 country. If Coach K couldn't do it with last years team, this year is going to be even more of a struggle. Cannot wait to take them down in the Garden!

“The Hoyas have one of the more underrated backcourts with James Akinjo and Mac McClung. If Yurtseven comes through and delivers as the anchor inside, as well as being a rim protector, then the Hoyas should be an NCAA tournament team.” - Andy Katz

Does anyone have intel on what's happening with the team and new recruits via informal workouts and scrimages. Has anyone seen anything? Is Igohofe in the mix? They are probably in summer school, working Ewing's basketball camp and getting to know each other building camaraderie. With the international trip, I believe (while knowing nothing) that they are able to workout and practice together. If anyone knows anything, please share...very curious!😳🤔😃

Keep an eye out for an announcement within the next month or so regarding the BIG EAST All Star Team being coached by Ed Cooley, competing in the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru August 6-10. Hopefully multiple Hoyas are representing the conference at the Pan American games... "Three recent graduates of BIG EAST schools are also part of the squad. Butler forward Tyler Wideman graduated in 2018, Creighton center Geoffrey Groselle picked up his diploma in 2016 and Georgetown guard Greg Malinowski graduated this year.

I like that the full team is sticking together for the Bahamas trip. It will be better for team chemistry, which will be key with new players making up around half of the ‘19-‘20 roster.

After a quick look at the roster, my only quibble I have is UMASS transfer Luwane Pipkins as has yet to play a BIG EAST game. If healthy, I would have liked to see a Markus Howard (Marquette) Kamar Baldwin (Butler) or Paul Reed (DePaul) on the roster instead...

Austin Van Zyl is a PG who plays in France. He's Canadian born with French ancestry allowing him to play in France. Also played a season at Huntington. Prep.
St. John's is in desperate need of PG depth for next season...

Twitter: "I think @georgetownhoops has a very real chance to make @marchmadness." A lukewarm endorsement, since in the Big East everyone but DePaul and (maybe) St. John's has a real chance in 2020. How about, "I think @georgetownhoops will make @marchmadness"?

This isn’t meant to be snarky or directed at you necessarily, but Georgetown has decided to not really support this PanAm team by offering up only a graduated 1-year transfer reserve player. I don’t think we are in a position, therefore, to quibble with player participation. Cooley was probably like, wtf, Patrick?
