She's got more experience living on less than most in her position. I'm guessing she won't be changing her mind. If you feel she makes a good point it makes sense to be more upset at the current and past Legislators that created the current system then someone who hasn't even been sworn in yet. It also shows why conservatives are so scared of her because a lot of what she says makes sense, so they attack her personally to avoid discussing the policy. If she did sponsor legislation it would probably never get introduced, and if it did it would fail spectacularly.

To your first point, I have nothing but scorn and disdain for Congress and the Senate. On this point, like the proverbial blind squirrel, she has found the nut. Most of what she says is nonsensical pabulum, grounded in yourhful ignorance. I am still working on how having two jobs lowers the unemployment rate. How about my suggestion of eliminating pensions for legislators, making it once again public service rather than dynastic private enrichment? And finally, the fact that a common sense bill would fail spectacularly is a yoke that is worn by both parties... Merry Christmas all!!!

Merry Christmas all!!! 1) But you only point your fire at Democrats. 2) You attacked a point you agree with because you didn't like the messenger. In essence fighting against yourself. 3) No gaffes she's made are worse than the current President you support, so clearly the gaffes aren't the issue. 4) Both sides! Drink! But attack only one side.....Oh... Happy Hollidays.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. How do you feel about the elimination of Congressional pensions? You have assiduously avoided comment there.

I do think it's pretty silly to attack a position you're in favor of just because it comes from a member of a party you don't support. Seems kind of counterproductive, but ok... Not avoiding. I don't have an opinion. It's not high on my radar, and not exactly relevant to the conversation, so I didn't answer. It looks like an attempt to change the conversation.

Nope. Just interested in your eloquent opinion.
As to the first point, let’s see if she feels the same way when it is her money. Liberals are very good at calling for others to sacrifice their earnings...

This reminds me of the time you were attacking Dr Ford for a future multi million dollar book deal that never happened.

Since neither of us know what the future holds why don't we keep the discussion about today. It appears you're arguing against a position you agree with because you don't like the messenger. That seems counterproductive, no?

Not arguing the position. Arguing against the credibility of this proponent. Will be happy to be wrong.

Is the above post an example of Republicans "calling for others to sacrifice their earnings?" How about shutting down the Government because you want a border wall. Is that another example?

Ocasio-Cortez has also committed to paying her interns 15 dollars an hour, this blind squirrel looks to be well fed... "Time to walk the walk," she tweeted on Tuesday. "Very few members of Congress actually pay their interns. We will be one of them." And she pledged more than just a stipend: Her interns will make $15 an hour. www.npr.org/2018/12/06/674378315/new-congresswoman-will-pay-her-interns-15-an-hour-is-that-a-big-deal

It would be a big deal if I t were her money. But it’ll be her offices money though, so technically it is her money... Considering how limited paid internships have been amongst established polo all offices, it is a big deal...

But thanks for the false flag racism call. Suits you well. I have ripped Democrats of every gender, race and age. But since you live for identity politics live it up. Merry Christmas

Liberals are very good at calling for others to sacrifice their earnings... Is this an example of a person calling for others to sacrifice their earnings? Or do you believe Trump's obvious lie that Federal workers would rather see a wall than a paycheck? Pretty funny that you mentioned "naive and vapid" in your reasons to dislike AOC. Judging by who you support currently looks like the progressive part is the only thing you really dislike, correct?
