Interesting that we’re proceeding almost as if that Ighoefe commit didn’t take place, or at least isn’t s sure thing.

We still need bigs at PF and at Center! If the targeted bigs can step out and hit from deep they can switch off positions as needed.

I would gladly take Tim I, Wilson, AND Wahab without hesitation.

I would gladly take Tim I, Wilson, AND Wahab without hesitation. 3 deep at C next year would be enough, TYVM. We need help elsewhere more than we need 3 not-a-sure-thing 7-footers in the '19 class.

Need to save some spots for end of year lottery (coaching carousel) We’d have at least one even if we swept the deck with Wahab and Wilson. #bigmanu #fireballs123

I would love to have legions of athletic 4/5s so we could have at least one in the game at all times.

I would gladly take Tim I, Wilson, AND Wahab without hesitation. I'd definitely take it especially if Wilson is serious about potentially taking a redshirt year. Assuming for '19 we have a senior Moseley, juniors in Yurt, Blair, Pickett & Walker with Sophomores in Akinjo, Mac, Leblanc and Carter, i"m not sure how many minutes there are to even go around. Yurt and Wahab would man most of the minutes at the five, Carter swaps in as the stretch 4/5 with Walker being another down low option. I would think Wahab would definitely get minutes, Tim I plays sparingly while developing and being another big to bang in practice and Wilson can redshirt. I'd take a point guard for '19 if we ended up with those 3 and needed one more. It is a roster that actually looks so much better than what we have had on paper over the past few years. Now this relies on most of our players continuing to develop and a Wilson redshirt but it isn't a stretch and the one concern i'd have would be the lights out shooter but Akinjo, Mac, Blair, Pickett, Carter, Moseley and Yurt all seem more than capable of knocking down 3's and that's before you get to seeing how Walker's outside shot looks for the upcoming '18 season.

Well, what a pleasant surprise this morning....I didn't expect to see a commitment before the visit.... I think he is going to pair well Akinjo and Leblanc once he gains a little more strength...... Welcome to the Hilltop Malcolm!!!!!! Let's Go!!!!

Very good news, have liked Malcolm all along and think he has the tools to develop into an excellent player. It's true that there are better players and better big guys in this class as of right now, but I'd argue that his potential is right up there with anyone, including some of the bigger name 4 and 5 star guys we've discussed extensively. Love his length, mobility and rim protection. With a couple years of hard work and good coaching I think we could look back on him as a steal. Great addition.
