I believe they scheduled both Loyolas. Yes, they did! My bad. For those who are curious, Loyola Chicago was 45 on KenPom entering the tournament and ended up 31st (they peaked at 30 right before playing Michigan). If RPIForecast is right, Loyola Chicago was 22 in RPI going into the tournament, and ended at 14.

Georgetown playing SMU December 15.
If this is a replacement for the Syracuse game last year on December 16th, it's terrible. If this is a replacement for the NC A&T game last year on December 9th, it is pretty great.
Kinda guessing it's the former just based on the dates.

Also looks like USF is playing Austin Peay before Jamaica and Florida A&M after Jamaica, which might mean that the Hoyas will be playing Campbell and Central Connecticut State University.

I see it as a replacement for NC A&T, with the dates flipped.

I believe they will hand out the total schedule at the first game.

I believe they will hand out the total schedule at the first game. They might just go game by game. You have to stay until the final buzzer to hear the announcement of the next opponent, date, time and place.

God, will this interminable summer/offseason just come to an end so we can have real basketball discussion here? [shakes fist at sky]

Quote from a season ticket email I just received from the athletics department: "Fans can expect the full men's basketball schedule to be released in early September."
It's what we all assumed and it's consistent with past years, but I guess this helps to confirm when to expect the full schedule.

Isn't "artificial intelligence" pretty much synonymous with the NCAA?

Isn't "artificial intelligence" pretty much synonymous with the NCAA? That would imply the NCAA has some sort of intelligence which we know they don't.
