National TV, Nova's Senior Day - Do we have to play this game? Can we just skip to the BET already? Just keep the score respectable, that is all I ask. I'll be impressed if we can hang with Nova. Even a 9-15 point loss wouldn't leave me too disappointed. I just hope it's not a 30-point drubbing. Honestly, our team just looks beat right now. We don't have a lot of depth, so Marcus and Jessie have carried a lot of the load this year. The constant double teams and such have taken their toll over the months. Whatever happens, I hope we have more depth next year. We need backups for our strength positions and not just our weaknesses. My best hope is that our guys are ticked off by how they looked at home and they try to make one final statement on the road.

We are playing better now than we were last time. I think we can hang in and keep it close, especially if everyone plays within themselves and does not try to make passes and take shots they aren't really capable of.

Yeah, even for a very good team versus a bad team, a 30+ point victory isn't that common. That said, I do think Villanova presents a particularly bad matchup AND it's an away game, so that works against us too. We just need to play our best, and whatever happens, happens. There is absolutely no expectation we can or would win tomorrow, so the game is basically entirely upside unless we get blown out by even more than last time, which is highly unlikely.

Hopefully that line provides some motivation. Big test for Ewing to see if he can keep this team from coming out flat against a top team on the road after so many disappointing collapses at the end of games.

Last regular season game of a long season. I just want to see a solid game, there are going to be some turnovers against 'nova but let's cut out the sloppy ones. Battle on the boards and on defense.

I'm upbeat about the future...but man...I can't recall dreading a game as much as this.

Being played 15 minutes from my house and I have no interest in attending. Between the expected result and the confluence of Nova and Eagle success, the atmosphere will be vomitous.

True. This would be a monumental game to win, but far less likely now.

Looks like Muesan is in a orthopedic boot on the bench. Did he and Derrickson get in a kicking context in practice?
