Wow the line is moving hard towards Cuse, now 5.5. I think alot of betters have been reading this board and the soft schedule and thinking the schedule gives them an inside edge.

So enough about the schedule. We have a great game tomorrow. Some things to keep in mind: Syracuse: Overall, Syracuse is a better defensive team than offensive team. Syracuse is the best team in the nation at blocks and 4th best in the nation at steals. They also rank pretty high (82nd) in forcing turnovers, and their 2 point defense is excellent (13th nationwide). They're also 44th nationwide in rebounding percentage. Syracuse's biggest weakness - by far - is shooting. They are one of the worst three point shooting teams in the country (ranking 333rd of 351), shooting only 28.5%. They get to the line pretty often, but they are bad at shooting free throws - shooting only 66.5% (277th nationwide). They are better at two's, shooting 51.2%. Their big strength, which has been mentioned here before, is that they get a lot of their misses - they are 2nd best in the nation at offensive rebounds. The biggest thing that worries me is that one of our biggest problems (turnovers) matches Syracuse's strengths on defense (steals, blocks, forcing turnovers). That could be a big problem for us. Contrarily, I think the biggest thing in our favor is that Syracuse is not a good shooting team, whereas thus far we have been pretty good (though streaky). Currently, our guys are shooting 39.2% from three (50th ranked), 55.6% from two (ranked 44th), and we are excellent at free throws (76.3%, 32nd ranked). If the zone gives us good looks from three, we need to take them, and make them. If we do, it will be hard for Syracuse to overcome that. Things I will be looking for: - How are we rebounding? - Are we turning it over a lot? - Are we making threes? - How is Jesse Govan handling bigger, more athletic opponents? We can win this game. Let's do it. Gtown needs someone to hit a lot of threes.. In the close SU Vs. Maryland game, Huerter made 7 threes, same for Graham in the game SU lost to Kansas.. The most an individual Gtown player has hit in a game this season is 4.. Marcus made 4 against Jacksonville & Kaleb mad 4 against UMES.. Someone needs to be blazing hot from 3 tomorrow.. Pickett.

Wow the line is moving hard towards Cuse, now 5.5. I took Cuse at the 2.5 (blasphemy I know) figuring it was the best number I could get. I'm now going to take the Hoyas to not have that rooting interest but if we do lose hopefully I hit the middle.

Kaleb lost on first possession. Better figure out the zone early.

Defense actually looks good. Offense looks completely loss.

What the f are we doing on offense? It's like we didn't practice against a 2-3.
High ball screens from Jessie and Marcus??
C'mon Pat.

Cause outside of Battle and Howard just cant score much this season, but the only way we win is if we execute a lot better on O and cut down TOs.

Syracuse is taking a lot of long twos. I would give them that shot all day.

Sodom missed defensive hedge on first poss.
Learned quickly. Better hedge on second, but still fouled.
