Am I correct that Georgetown only managed 5 first downs, and only 1 first down in the whole 2nd half? That's awful.
ON EDIT: Looks like 8 first downs total, and only 3 first downs in the 2nd half

Last week--7 punts, 4 INTs
This week--9 punts, 1 INT
I know Coach is an alumnus and liked by all. But at some point, this futility has to be his responsibility to some degree, regardless of the state of the program. And, no, I'm not suggesting he be shown the door.

Any chance we talk the Coopers into converting their gift to a world-class soccer facility befitting the product on the field?
Football can go to Shaw.

Yet another in a series of futile offensive efforts.

Football doesn't get the admissions and financial aid benefits soccer enjoys. A facility of even minimum utility (and this really is a minimum viable product, it's not like Cooper Field is the next Kyle Field or anything) is essential. As noted in a previous thread, the timeline for a soccer facility upgrade is, in my view, 10-15 years out. Cooper Field will be built to accommodate soccer, albeit with FieldTurf.

It was really written in jest but thanks for the perspective. We are blessed with two fine head coaches in Wiese and Ward. Would hate to see them go over facilities.
