Good for JT3. I'm glad he's staying in the coaching game. Still relatively young for the profession and if he can shore up a few weaknesses he can be an excellent coach again.

Yes, I agree. I like the man a lot. But the performance of the team over the past years was terminally painful... I wish him success as I wish Coach Patrick Ewing success. I have high hopes for the Hoyas under Patrick's leadership.

Who is playing for this team? Obviously no one in college or the NBA. Can’t seem to find a roster.

Who is playing for this team? Obviously no one in college or the NBA. Can’t seem to find a roster. Mostly G-League players. www.usab.com/news-events/news/2017/11/mwcq-players.aspxReturning to represent the United States are: Larry Drew II (Sioux Falls Skyforce); Reggie Hearn (Reno Bighorns); Xavier Munford (Wisconsin Herd); and AmeriCup MVP Jameel Warney (Texas Legends). Rounding out the USA roster are: Markel Brown (Oklahoma City Blue); Semaj Christon (free agent); Jarell Eddie (Windy City Bulls); Amile Jefferson (Iowa Wolves); Kennedy Meeks (Raptors 905); Elijah Millsap (Iowa Wolves); Donald Sloan (Texas Legends); and Travis Wear (South Bay Lakers).

He is well suited to that role. ESPN is a struggling organization at the moment though.

Don't know if anyone else watched. As I would have expected, he was intelligent, personable, and took the task at hand very seriously. In one respect, he was very refreshing: he managed to offer color commentary without rooting for one team over the other. I hope he gets a good following, because this is a good career alternative for him.

I was curious to see how that would translate on TV? Coach was informational, insightful and really had an outstanding feel and understanding of both teams and expressed it in an easy to understand way that both the occasional fan and college basketball lifer can really appreciate. Agreed that Coach JT3 was very impartial and called the game as he saw it even though he has a business relationship and friendship with both Coaches Dawkins & Martin. Very different and refreshing to see on ESPN!
