So sad that these tragedies continue to happen at the expense of protecting the “rights” of individuals like Mr. McRae. Why are the rights of people not to be killed not more important?

This is already old news. See what happened in Mississippi today. There have already been nearly 80 mass shootings in the US this year (I believe that's defined as three or more people shot), although in many of those, no one was killed. People need to improve their aim. |

I wish those in the pockets of the NRA would just stop pretending this matters to them and admit they just don’t effing care because all they really are offering is thoughts and prayers that they will get elected again. They care not a bit for what is good for society and are unmoved by the sight of dead children. These are some evil, despicable people.
