Interesting. I don't know how what to think. His dad and him seem to really like it here but they posted alot on their Oregon trip as well. My gut says Oregon but maybe he loved it here and we get our 1st big recruit of 2022.

Fwiw he announced that commitment date prior to his visit to Georgetown. Think he's scheduled to visit Nebraska and Arkansas as well

Mintz looks to be a good player who could've fit in well with what Ewing is trying to build. I hope the staff can bring in someone just as good, if not better. Good luck to the young man.

Denver has to be most likely 2022 commit, right? Troutman maybe?

Does anyone know how good Denver Anglin is? He seems to be a high priority.

Does anyone know how good Denver Anglin is? He seems to be a high priority. Very good scorer/shooter. He's probably under-ranked b/c he's smallish, but not a PG. A very capable ball-handler... so they slap the CG tag on him. I'd take him in a heartbeat w/o FOMO on someone else. Put him at the 2 with a Riley/Mohammed type athletic wing at the 3, and you're fine. Probably overlaps positionally with Beard going forward (backup 1 & 2) w/ a little different flavor (athleticism/D vs shooting/scoring), but that's gonna happen if we're gonna get the talent level back up.

Man thank you for that analysis! That information you gave on him is some great information.

Perhaps no player took more advantage of this stage than Clowney. Offensively, the 6-foot-9 Clowney showcased an array of dunks, jumpers, and off ball cuts. Defensively the Spartanburg (S.C.) Dorman High prospect had a typical showing of switch-ability and rim protection. Throughout the day, looking baseline for the prospect’s games, head coaches from South Carolina, Indiana and Clemson were at both of his games with an array of assistant coaches from the likes of Georgetown, Tennessee, Florida, NC State, Georgia and others in attendance. Clowney has already taken an unofficial visit to Georgia this June. He plans on getting to South Carolina, Clemson and Tennessee this June as well. Clowney has an August official visit set to head to Indiana. He picked up a Florida offer after his showing on night one. Watch this one closely, a continual rise in the rankings could be forthcoming. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/shaw-s-takeaways-day-1-of-the-scholastic-live-period

Does anyone know how good Denver Anglin is? He seems to be a high priority. The kid can really shoot with range and with little space. I'm not quite sure on his off the dribble game but Anglin is one of my favorite prospects that isn't local.

Phillis is a lengthy and angular wing prospect who plays with a lot of pop in his game. Perhaps the best part of the 6-foot-8 Phillips game is his rebounding. But throughout the day, the Blythewood (S.C.) High prospect showed an ability to get to his spots off the bounce and great pace in the half court when initiating the offense for his team. The 2022 Rivals150 wing had head coaches from South Carolina and Clemson at both his games along with assistants from Ohio State, NC State, Florida, Georgetown, Xavier and Florida State. Phillips visits Clemson on an official visit June 4. Phillips plans of visiting Ohio State on June 28 and then Wake Forest on July 31. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/shaw-s-takeaways-day-1-of-the-scholastic-live-period
