Reminds me More of a Steve Francis or Russell Westbrook power dunker. Muscularly built unlike Chapman who was really skinny and a finesse guy.

Champman's not a bad comparison. Rex was an exciting player that could jump out of the gym.

Rex is a bad comparsion. Rex was 6'5 2G and a profilic scorer in high school he was a top 10 player.

For those interested there are a bunch of his high school (Gate City) highlights posted on hudl. He’s not just a dunker. The kid can play. Not sure about his defense, but he’s got a lot of potential in my book.

We used to call him Ernie "No" D. He was exciting, though. I hope McClung plays better defense.

Champman's not a bad comparison. Rex was an exciting player that could jump out of the gym. Man I love this board. The delusion runs so rampant once a guy signs with the Hoyas. Rex Chapman was a 40% 3P shooter who played 2 years at Kentucky and then was the #8 overall pick and you guys are comparing him to the 250th ranked player in his class.

You're right, He's not a 40% shooter. I see a bit more prime Derrick Rose.

More like Joey Brown or Matt Causey He's better than Matt Causey. Not sure about that. Causey was good at Tech.
