Without getting a dozen sarcastic remarks about the stateof our recruting...do we have a shot here? Is there a favorite? The chances aren't good. I would be very happy to be wrong here. Let’s hope the latest rumors are true.

this probably takes us out of the running for Mohammed. But I'm fine with that. First come first serve. We can't be waiting around. Still uncertain able beard sice we looking at other pg like I Joseph, Collins, Blakes, Brantley and Smith... Whatever interest Mohammed has in coming to GU isn't going to be shaken by the backcourt we've got lined up for next year, Riley and another PG included.

It's been well documented that Mohammed has a guardian that is looking for immediate playing time getting major mins as freshman. U never know what these guys are looking for when it comes to picking a school.

Hoyas probably take 5 this year. Riley would have no effect on Muhammed.
Riley = NBA athlete but needs more polish. Form on jumper is solid just needs reps. Doesn't get to play as much 2G at his highschool as you would like so guard skills have to be developed. If the skills catch up to athleticism he's a potential pro.

Daaaaayum, coach done flipped a recruit! Bout time it happened to some other school instead of us for a change. I like the pickup coach! Okay, now with this new pickup, my new wishlist for 2021:
Ryan Mutombo Frankie Collins/Malachi Smith
If no Ryan Mutombo, I would take Baldwin or Frank Kepnang.

The guy who Polo quoted was the first guy to predict Riley to St Johns and has some good sources. Fwiw all of the 247 reporters flipped their pick to Gtown. I guess we'll find out for sure tomorrow am.

Mohammed is the type of prospect who is absolutely a take anywhere he wants regardless of who you already have in the class. Day 1 starter, one-done type talent.

Isn't he also the type of recruit that could go the G league route? I think that adds some serious hedging to his recruiting so you need to have depth if you are recruiting a kid of his caliber & ranking (know nothing about his desired path).

Programs need to not count on any of those 5 star type kids and just leave a spot for them if they decide to go to college.

Judging by his press conference his parents may have swayed his decision, they seem extra happy with the choice.

This class could be the one that helps Ewing right the ship. Just like Nova’s class of Ochefu, Hart, and Arcidiacono.

Great get today. But now I’m not sold on using on of these last scholarships on Mal Smith. We already have 2 CGs for the 2021 class and 2 PGs from the 2020 class. I think we should push for a wing and a big to finish the class. Keep the open slots for Aminu and Mutumbo for the time being.

This is a very exciting signing that came out of nowhere. As I said on the main page Jordan has more upside than anyone Pat has brought in. I think he’s a boom or bust pickup.I said we had little chance because as of a few days that is what people were being told. From what I know about his recruitment and circumstance I think he’s either in the NBA or transferred out if a few years. Dad definitely won out here. He’s more than worth that risk though considering the way our recruiting was recently.
SJU fans have to be feeling exactly like we feel seeing local guys go elsewhere. It’s good to be on the other end of this one.
