While currently a member of the 2021 Canadian class, he’s considering reclassifying to 2020 and feels ready to contribute in college next season.
In a conversation with JK today he said, “Only I know the work I’ve put in and I know what I can do. This year is like a statement year. I want people I’ve known for years and previous coaches to look at me and think damn I messed up. The ultimate plan is to make it to the League.”
Georgetown has also considered adding him to the depth chart and has opened up dialogue to build a relationship.

Jaden House and Zay Folkes Any of the recruiting gurus have some intel on Quadir Pettaway? The kid is from Newport News and played youth football with my son....he left football around the age of 11 to go exclusively basketball....but I haven't seen him play since he was about 12-13.....

Over the weekend, 2021 five-star Paolo Banchero announced that he is down to a group of nine that consists of Baylor, Duke, Georgetown, Gonzaga, Kentucky, Memphis, North Carolina, Tennessee and Washington. With each move the No. 2 player in the junior class makes, it becomes more clear that he isn't the lock he was initially figured to be to stay home and play for the Huskies. Don't get me wrong, the Huskies are in a good spot with Banchero and are making him a priority. But, given that he's already set up official visits with UNC (9/27), UK (10/11), Duke (10/17), Tennessee (10/25) and Gonzaga (1/18). Those are some pretty heavy hitters in today's game and they are giving him increasingly more attention. Banchero isn't expected to make a decision in the near future and lots is left to play out. But, if I were to handicap the teams with the best chance of beating Washington, I would look at Duke and Kentucky. There's been a lot of positive buzz on the recruiting grapevine regarding their chances so it's going to be interesting to see what kind of talk starts circulating once Banchero starts hitting the road in two weeks. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/starting-five-five-star-banchero-s-list-changes-for-five-star-burnettPaolo Banchero is about past the idea of reclassifying. He remains set on enrolling in the fall of 2021 but has published a final list of schools that consists of Baylor, Duke, Georgetown, Gonzaga, Kentucky, Memphis, Michigan, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Washington. He also just completed an official visit to Gonzaga two weeks ago, which was the final visit that he could take during his junior year; he has already been to Duke, Kentucky, North Carolina and Tennessee. I don’t give Baylor, Georgetown, Memphis or Michigan much of a chance, and while Gonzaga has a shot, they remain in catch-up mode. The question is whether he wants to stay home and play where his parents were star athletes. Mike Hopkins has won his recruiting battles as an assistant and now as a head coach in Seattle, but my bet is that Banchero decides to go elsewhere. Carolina will have a say but my gut says that it comes down to Duke, Kentucky and Tennessee. Banchero has also established a great relationship with five-star guard Kennedy Chandler where both visited UT during the same weekend in the fall. Duke and Tennessee have the best chance with Chandler, while Kentucky might be the slight leader for Banchero. Could the two play together in college? There is a chance which is why it could be a dead heat with plenty of storylines to follow regarding where the best point guard and best power forward land and if they decide to pick the same university. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/twitter-tuesday-latest-on-jalen-green-greg-brown-paolo-banchero

NC State. The Wolfpack are the team to beat for four-star junior Roosevelt Wheeler. They have invested the most into his recruitment and is the only program to have already hosted him on an official visit. Just two weeks ago, we reported the news that Kevin Keatts was on hand for one of Wheeler's games and I would expect for Wheeler to remain their top big man priority in the 2021 class. Will that lead to an early commitment? I am not sure but I am fairly certain that the Wolfpack have already laid the groundwork that might lead to the John Marshall High product playing for Keatts in Raleigh. Georgetown , Kansas, Miami, Providence and Virginia Tech sit among the others that have offered. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/wednesday-s-leftovers-texas-tech-five-stars-roosevelt-wheeler

Until a "Blue Blood" offers. Then the staff should pull up its tent and move on no matter the connection or status of the relationship...? Pretty sure I'm seeing Coach Orr sitting next to the Team Takeover HC @ the Hoophall classic right now watching Paul VI play Sierra Canyon Anyone who's watching, they're sitting on the baseline behind the PVI basket. I had to add that Keels is the truth, a very good player.
