Fair enough, I can't say I have seen him play so I am not against him personally, I am just optimistic that we will be involved with some higher major transfers. I am sure Jarvis would be an improvement to our current group; On3 has him ranked as the 40th best player in the portal to date, that's certainly someone worth our attention right now. Doesnt that take into account name brand and marketability? Not in their rankings, they assign a random "NIL value" number that they pull out of thin air on guys, but I don't think it impacts the rankings. I don't see Jarvis listed on 247's portal rankings top 50, but they may just not have him updated on their list. |

Jamison Battle could be interesting if we decide we need another forward. Spent his first two years at GW until going home to Minnesota. His stats dropped this last year but his JR year he averaged 17.5 pts / 6.3 reb on 36% 3pt shooting. |

Since entering the portal Ike says Arkansas, Arizona, Arizona State, Butler, Colorado, Georgetown, Gonzaga, Indiana, Iowa State, Kansas, Missouri, San Diego State, Seton Hall, Tennessee, Xavier, Washington State, and West Virginia, are some of the programs that have contacted him so far. They like me because they want someone who can fill a spot at the four and five and become a culture guy for their team.”... “For a coach, I’m really looking for someone who is genuine in recruiting me. I know with recruiting the portal how hectic and fluid the situations are with the coaches and players. I think honesty is the best policy so if something happens I would appreciate if the coach lets me know and that goes both ways.
