If I do Rothstein’s calculation, I get 34.87%. 🤔

Morsell, who I have no idea whether we are even talking with him, would bring 2 things:
1 He is a ferocious defender, and was usually assigned to the hottest hand Maryland faced. 2 B-more channel would reopen. I know we got one walk-on from there, but more Baltimore guys would be nice, assuming Bingo or Bimbo or whatever -the guy who went to DePaul - can't pull them all to Chicago.
Ransom, that's his name. If he pulls Morsell, we'll have to face his defensive wizardry next year.

I was thinking hard about Morsell but, the problem we have is we have a lot of guards already and we really need a small forward, a big. But just imagine what Morsell will do with our already stout perimeter d joining along Aminu and Jordan. That would be fascinating!

I assume this is likely because of a bunch of COVID-related senior transfers, and schools simply do not have the scholarship space for them. While I do not like the new transfer rules, I do think a significant part of this off-season's glut of transfers was the result of the extra year of eligibility. That aspect of the transfer portal should go away along with COVID.

That is a real shame about Josh. I loved the way he played his freshman year for the Hoyas and was really excited about his future at Georgetown and beyond. I don't have any real insights into the reasons for these transfers, beyond what has been rumored on this site, but it does seem like he might not be getting the best advice from people around him. I hope things turn out Ok for him.

Very sad, and not good. Josh's downward trajectory is hard to watch.

Sometimes young people are searching for themselves (not saying it is good or bad) just that it happens and that it does not have to be some coach's or program's fault that this search happenings. Have agreed with some that mentioned the influences they maybe be receiving from some people close to them, feeding notions of not being satisfied and that another coach or program has better intentions for them or that some of their influencers have their personal situation in mind in some situations. To ask for loyalty or commitment from many young ones (not all) today is a large ask when they have come through the lower feeding programs and systems where those things did not exist and where they changed teams during the season and in some cases changed for various events. So when we see young ones come along and their decision making is less volatile that is a good thing. We can only wish them all the best.

Loved Josh's game his freshman year, he was my favorite player in that class by far. Not sure what happened but any way we'd give him another chance at Georgetown? He's a glue guy who brings a lot to the table on the court, when right.

Have no idea about his academic standing when he left GU but I doubt his academic profile improved in GU's eyes after a year at LSU.

Anyone Remember this recruit? We were drooling over before "losing him" to UNC? That didn't work out for him, so he went to SC... didn't work out either. He sure had some amazing YouTUbe videos though.
Here's the latest:
Quite a fall for his career. But Hey, I wish the kid all the best.

Have to give Broadus credit for bringing in talent to his team though.

Playing with that other big Hoyas recruiting "miss", Sherwyn Devonish? Not ONE but TWO floor generals... that's quite an army right there... If anyone missed the floor general thing, don't bother, if you get it, I am sorry Best of luck to all these young men trying to carve their own path
