Would love to see that glide. A guy who can stop and pop from 8-12 feet is money in the college game.

Anyone else think Kaleb spent a lot of time working with Wallace this summer on shooting form? The transformation on his threes (which were previously decent) and free throws (which were previously atrocious) is remarkable, and neither should be impacted much by a step-up in competition.
The other improvement that I hope will continue is that Kaleb seems to have corrected one of his big issues of the past couple years, of driving too far and either getting stuck under a basket or being called for a charge. Mulmore and Mosley are still guilty of that more than anyone else, so I'm hoping Mosley will be able to curb it too, going forward.

Keldon and Oak Hill just overcame a tough game vs. pesky Lone Peak from UT. Hopphall classic. Keldon Johnson led the charge.

Good for Keldon. If he works as hard as his brother clearly has, maybe he'll live up to his hype. Best of luck to the kid.
His big bro is doing what big brothers are supposed to do: set the example of how to go about your business, put in work and watch that work pay off. Even the best coaching staff can't do the grunt work for a player. Regardless of scheduling and competition, it's glaringly clear how hard Kaleb has worked and it's showing in his game both in his fundamentals and his confidence. I hope it's contagious and that he's one of the leaders by example for his team. I have a lot of respect for any person that works that hard to improve. Good on Kaleb.

Even as Kaleb's game has matured, so has his appearance. No longer looks like a fourteen year old.

After just 8 games, Kaleb has reached 100 points in a season for the first time as a Hoya. He also has hit more 3s (11) than in his freshman and sophomore years combined.

What the heck has happened to Kaleb? All we needed was one point from him. Even his defense has nosedived.

He did not go off in the second half until Kaleb was out of the game. His offensive game is just too limited to work against BE opponents beyond the occasional putback or transition basket.

I was expecting more from him this season. Yes, can't say he has improved his game since last season - I guess his free throw shooting, but overall disappointing.

Seems we are struggling to find something positive about his contributions this year. Reminds me of what Marv Albert used to say about Marvin Webster, who he thought was useless. He said Webster was the best in the league at contesting the outlet pass after his man beat him to the rebound😁

Well it is not a reach to credit him with improved FT shooting. I am disappointed with the drop off in his offensive play but the kid plays hard and always gets a decent amount of assists. Still hoping that he can find some confidence from deep.

Kaleb truly is the unsung hero. Proud of what he brings to this team off of the bench.

Kaleb truly is the unsung hero. Proud of what he brings to this team off of the bench. Bravo to Kaleb for buying in and delivering a consistent, high quality effort. Last night against Providence was the latest example. He's really leading by example. He's reinvented himself in a new role and has become an increasingly important contributor as the season progresses.

While never publicly, I have killed Kaleb for 3.5 years for poor play and, in particular, trying to do too much (usually ending in a turnover). I cant remember when exactly the switch flipped, but I would say for at least the last half dozen BE games, he has been a huge + and made a number of important contributions. He now knows his role and is a very important part of the team and our recent improved play and success. I'm really happy for him that things have turned this way. No doubt the result of a lot of hard work on his part.

I always had high hopes for Kaleb. Can't say that he bounced to realize that in terms of statistics, but he has impressed me with his character and leadership! He leads by example, plays HARD, is hard, puts his body on the line, plays to his strength, is always in the scrap. He makes a difference!!!!
