Wright vs Starks vs Waters: Who is the better Point Guard? Is this a serious thread? You want to compare 2 guards who played 4 years at the college level to a HIGH SCHOOL senior. Let the kid get on campus first and play a college game. Then everyone can jump all over him.

Wright was much better than Starks in high school...Waters would appear to be comparable to Wright, albeit more of a traditional pass-first PG, whereas Wright was a prolific scorer...

Can we institute the Holman rule to eliminate ridiculous posts comparing a senior in high school to two former players? All in favor?

There are only 2 other PG's that were highly heralded recruits with a comparable skill set under JTIII.

Because otherwise it is senseless, since Waters has not stepped on the court yet.

Everyone who saw Chris play in high school (I did not) said that he was very speedy and lost some when he bulked up. At the time, it seemed the right strategy for someone his size because they needed to be able to muscle their way into the lane. As a pro, he has needed to concentrate on flexibility and his muscles have become longer. He has done this in part so that he could continue playing with his condition, but he also claims that it has made him faster and more agile. This one example shows how dramatically the freedom of movement rules have changed college basketball.
Since Markel has graduated, I have been wishing he was playing with this group of players. He never lost his speed and would have done better with this supporting cast than the one he had imo.
Neither Markel nor Chris were ready to play point guard from day 1. It appears that Waters will need to be. He should have some support since I expect Moseley and Mulmore to develop, but obviously our hopes are pinned on his ability to transform this team.

Waters. He's like a 5'9" Ditka.
He could beat half the teams in the Big East without any teammates on the floor.
I once saw him hit 236 3-pointers in a single game. 231 after halftime.

What was wrong with him in the first half? He was saving a family of 6 from a burning building. It was in all the papers.
