Is the HC passing game that exceptional? Or is our secondary just that bad?

Is this the worst Georgetown offense of the I-AA era? Hoyas end the game with two series, two INT's. Norris completed 25 passes for just 185 yards (7.4 yds average)
The PLN analyst was 110% correct: how does a team expect to run a two minute drill when it has not thrown the ball downfield all game to begin with?
Stats:
Rushing: HC 30-100; Georgetown 30-65 Passing: HC 17-28 for 308, 1 INT; Georgetown 25-37 185, 2 INT Total offense: HC 408-250 Penalties: HC 6-48, GU 8-72

Actually a very entertaining game. Without major mistakes by coaches and players in the secondary its a win. The WR for the Cross Fitspatrick was outstanding and the difference.
The passing game was solid given that they can barely protect the QB who I believe was a freshman.

Agree A series of 15 yard penalties on the Hoyas late in the game including sideline interference allowed HC to move the ball when it appeared they were stopped deep in their own territory.

This season is slipping down the drain quickly on this bunch. I for sure thought after a strong start we'd control our lesser opponents in the PL but hasn't happened. Not sure the problem but I think we have become a program that is accustomed to losing and that's why we end up on wrong end of these winnable games.

We're losing because we're playing teams that are better than us. The first three teams we played were all not very good.

I don't think that's accurate. Even beyond the first three games, we played Harvard in a close game and they are at the top of the Ivy League, played Fordham close . No excuse to be winless in last couple of weeks other than we can't close and win games which is cultural.
I know you lean negative but need more to explain this season than that simple answer.

Even bad teams have close losses. This team's offense is so bad that there's no way you can say we should've won any more than three games. This team's talent is exactly where its record is. Maybe the record is even a game better.
