Me personally I'd like to see Clark, Lewis, and maybe Murray or Walton in the Blue N Grey! Who did Kobe Clark run with on the AAU circuit? Not real sure maybe the Ramey Jets United but i wouldn't trust AAU stats. They are less likely to play organized ball, more run and gun.

Looks like we have three scholarships left for 20-21 if Yurtseven stays. I would like 2 big wings (Moncrieffe+) and a big guard shooter/scorer.

Who we land is so important for trajectory and psyche.

I have tried to stay off this thread because it is just too depressing to talk about all these great players, many of whom live in the D.C area, that we never get. More interesting to me, and I'm sure all of us, would be some sort of analysis as to why we don't get these kids or why we get some kids and not others. Obviously there are dozens of reasons why kids choose some schools over others but I have to wonder if there isn't some underlying factor keeping these kids away. I notice that a lot of players on other teams are majoring in some fairly nebulous subjects like "sports communication" or "athletic management". What do our players major in and do we offer the kinds of majors that would attract kids who, let's face it, are more interested in NBA careers than pursuing a difficult academic curriculum.

Not sure why you think a degree in Sports Communications or Athletic Management is nebulous but I don't think "difficult academic curriculum" has anything to do with the state of Gtown's recruiting... In JT3's last season Gtown had 5 RSCI top 100 players on the roster, that shows me academics isn't holding Gtown back, it's a fallback excuse folks like to lean on... In my opinion, PE/staff have done pretty well recruiting wise so far, their issue has been holding it together and developing it...

They have three 2020 SG's maybe more, Selton Miguel is a Kansas State commit! Jadrian Tracey looks nice but my money would be on 6-5 AJ Staton/Aderes Staton-McCray! He's very quick and athletic, IMO he's got the frame and quickness of Jonathan Mulmore but better shot mechanics.

Recruiting guru's....what about David N'Guessan at Mt Zion...Class of 2020?? 6'8' 195 Power Forward
I know it's fun just to throw names around but kid is local and at least according to 247 is really blowing up. He just jumped up about 170 spots in 247's latest update to #169. Doesn't appear that anyone is a real favorite in terms of recruiting. There is mention of Depaul, Vtech and then small schools like Howard and Towson. He looks like a real active body like LeBlanc, videos look very impressive...
Nice highlights versus Brewster Academy
Shows his range in this video...
I know it's unrealistic to just throw a name out there and hope staff goes after them but he is a position of need, local and potentially still underrated...

VT insiders say he is very high on their board and the staff likes their chances to get a commit soon.

I watched some of his highlights and he is a big, strong and athletic power forward with some decent low post moves. He also has some offers from some other power 5 schools, so not sure what type of chance the Hoyas would have getting involved this late. The other thing I noticed in the highlights is that the competition he was playing in the highlight films was awful!!! Did he play with a strong AAU program? How did he do against those types of players?

His team was in town in December for the Gonzaga Tournament. He scored 30 in at least one game. They went to the Syracuse game also - not a bad one to see. I'm assuming there might have been some introductions then. That plus Kirby is a nice start...

Filling out our roster for next season with strong players is critical. I can only tolerate another mediocre season, if I fully believe the future is bright.

The proverbial light has seemingly come on for this rising senior prospect. Odusipe has always had the physical tools to be a high level prospect but his progress seemed stifled, especially one offense, for one reason or another. This season has been quite the opposite for the 6'9 post presence. Improved effort, better footwork and more aggression on the glass has produced gaudy numbers for Akeem who holds several D1 offers including Georgia Teach, Auburn, Kansas State, Maryland and Miami. He is among the state leaders in blocked shots and has made a concerted effort to avoid the silly early fouls that have plagued him throughout his prep career. He has his Fighting Irish squad ranked among the top programs in the state in their classification and was outstanding this past weekend as his squad welcomed the highly touted IMG Academy program to their gym in Knoxville. hoopseen.com/news/general/202001/closer-look-hoopseentn-unsigned-seniors-tnprephoops

Looks like he's a great athlete, big/strong hustle type, poor free throw shooter. uaa.io/teamstats.aspx?path=17u&year=2019&school=bmaze
