RIP Arnold. First there was Ben Hogan and Sam Snead, then Arnold, then Nicklaus, then Tiger. But Arnold was the first to turn his fame into a lucrative enterprise.
Loved Arnold. I was one of Arnold's Army. He did all those things with the golf club that I could never do, no matter how hard I tried.

He brought golf to the masses with his charisma and swashbuckling style. When I was a kid, I always pulled for Arnie. I almost threw up when he blew that U.S. Open to Billy Casper. And I used to love to watch Big 3 Golf (at least that's my recollection of what it was called) - Arnie, Jack and Gary playing different courses every week. Always liked and respected Gary, but hated Fat Jack (at least he was then), the usurper.

When I was a kid, I always pulled for Arnie. So did I. Loved Arnie! Same here, and my dad, too. All class.
