So Hoyas own the Stanford coaching staff with Chris Miltenberg director of XC and track and field. Katrina Coogan has exhausted her eligibility for XC and track, but she will be honored Friday, Sept. 23 with the award for Outstanding Achievement by a female athlete. Congratulations to Katrina. And also to lic, who will be honored on the 23rd too!
Let me think out loud. I wonder if her father, Mark Coogan, is being considered for the director of track and field at Georgetown.

In the national polls the men remain 7th and the women 18th. It was a quiet week so most positions remain stable.

In the national poll today the men dropped one slot to #8, as the University of Portland won the Griak XC race and slipped into #7. Note that Northern Arizona took over first place and former Hoya coach Mike Smith will take over the head of XC and track next year.
