Showing again that the only real principle in today’s GOP is sustaining power. I used to be somewhat proud of the Republican Party in WI. Regardless of the issues of the day, there was a belief system in good governance and honesty. No more. Robin Vos and the Fitzgerald boys can go suck a giant c**k. They will have blood on their hands after tomorrow, and for what. The freaking Supreme Court. Karma’s a bitch and she always wins.

We may be too gerrymandered even for karma to win.
That said, yeah. F@ck Vos and the Fitzgeralds. And Steineke, and Roth, and....

andrew kaczynski: The Republican Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald rejected attempts by the Democratic governor to move the election.
We’re now getting a clear picture of people putting themselves at risk. This was avoidable.

Was great to see these shameless repulsive repubs of Wisconsin, who were willing to risk the lives of their constituents in a brazen attemp to rig an election, get their comeuppance.

You could almost hear the sound of thousands of Republican officials harrumphing and gnashing their teeth Monday night when the results of a key Wisconsin Supreme Court race came in. Republicans had gone to great lengths to suppress the vote, refusing to postpone the election despite the coronavirus pandemic and racing to the U.S. Supreme Court to block an extension of time for voters to return absentee ballots. This was the perfect example of Republicans’ go-to tactic: Make it hard to vote, hoping your own (whiter, older) voters will turn out but Democrats won’t. That strategy bombed in Wisconsin, suggesting Republican efforts to tamp down on voting by mail (or other means) may be self-destructive. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/04/14/not-even-voter-suppression-works-republicans/

Fact check: Lancaster (most heavily non-white area of #CA25) was the only population center in #CA25 *without* an in-person vote center until this weekend. The mayor is a Republican and is the person who requested it.
Since when is people being given access to the polls considered rigging an election?? Do Republicans still believe in Democracy?

Listening to or reading Trump's stream of lies is like watching Mr. Creosote in The Meaning of Life. At some point, shouldn't all the bile make him explode?

Today Georgia was supposed to vote to replace a retiring judge in the state's Supreme Court.
Instead, Republican Gov. Brian Kemp used a technicality in the state's constitution to cancel the election and appoint a Republican to the seat for two years.

Maybe these folks think voter fraud is a thing because they're the ones doing it.
So Trump and White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany may have voted illegally in Florida.
