Democrat Surfing contests cancelled—No Wave R talking point this morning: Just because Dems didn’t win EVERY big race, it’s not a wave. D + 9 points nationally last night. Call it “not a wave” if you want, but that’s pretty significant. For what it’s worth, no real surprises on the macro level: most expected a D takeover of the House, R gains in the Senate, and a split of Governorships. Some surprises in individual races as always. Disappointment for Ds in some of the high profile races, but places like TX, GA, and TN were always tough sledding. Republicans did solidify that they have indeed become the party of Trump though. So, where do you go if you became a Republican because you believe in family values, fiscal responsibility, and individual accountability? |

Ds also flipped more than 300 state legislature seats and 7 state legislative chambers nationwide.

This totally unpalatable President and his party lost about 60% as many seats as Dear Leader Obama did.

As for the 300 seats in state chambers, another 1000 and you will make up the losses under Obama.

Great news on both fronts. This should be common sense unfortunately Republicans, who claim to love Democracy, are going in the other direction... It's almost as if they think when access to the polls increases, their chances of winning decreases...
