with Arkansas and Georgia Tech. Ranked around the same place as Rivers, 25-45 range, but is 6'5, can stroke it from deep and great mid-range game. Has handle to get to the cup as well. From what I hear III and staff love him and have been on him forever. I think we'll have to beat Tech for him. Obviously the key to our recruiting is versatility. Every player we're involved with can do a multitude of things on the floor.

To be honest ID, I think Illinois will be a factor once Jon Scheyer officially announces for Duke over Illinois. He's an instate kid that Illini have made top priority and Illinois has already gotten a commitment from Marques' AAU teammate Richard Semrau. One thing I've noticed is that the other schools often change when Marques Johnson gives school lists but GU always remains on the list. Not saying he's a lock or anything but have found that interesting to say the least.
Georgia Tech is more involved with Jeremiah Rivers and Jarvis Crittenton at this point.

Rivers just dropped Tech. The kids I want are Rivers, Macklin and Summers. III and staff love this kid too. He's better than where the gurus have him ranked. He plays the five in hs cause of his size, but can play 3,4, and 5. Most likely a Jeff Green type recruit for III.

RDF...I think you are right on with this one. We thought it strange that he didn't list Illinois, but word is that he is a little annoyed that Illinois made Scheyer such a priority over him. There are many Illinois fans that actually prefer MJ to Scheyer. The whole Scheyer thing is getting real annoying as most feel that he is a Duke lock and dragging it out just hurts further with guys like MJ. Once the Scheyer thing is over with, hopefully Illinois can mend the fences pretty quick. If not Illinois, then I will of course hope he is a Hoya
