I am doing a paper in my english that class to write to georgetown to inquire about trying to create a new arena for Georgetown sports. We need two sources and I already have one source from the georgetown homesite, I was wondering if anyone had any different sources for me with the source a need a like to the site and adress or email address where I can send something to this person trying to get them to build a new gym.
Any feedback would be huge help- thanx alot

Never mind guys I used the Washington post, for my assignment I had to pick a problem that I want to resolve and we had to make up a poem and send to it someone to see it get published but Ill just put it on the board and see if you guys like the poem.
Their was a day when Georgetown basketball was the leader of the hoops pack, In which they were the top degree at which any program would lack. Those home games were held in an arena such as McDonough, Where the careers started and ended for Ewing, Sleepy, Freddy and Alonzo, And where the life was rejuvenated back into with the likes of AI.and Mutombo. But those days are gone now but our life is getting put back into now, Even though we do not have a home to call our own like our predecessors knew how. We have the MCI where it holds around 12k, But we do not have home court advantage where we could determine a certain forte. Georgetown fans were the powerful pack rooting on their dog, But now it is just a lonely dog out there in the fog. We need a court where we can call our own, Where the likes of J-Green and R-O-Y can leave a ‘marc’ to make them known. So the Hoya future can look bright and stand full with proud, Where we can feel even more proud about the future and yell out loud. The way we can make this come to be is by healing up the fracture, By getting a new arena with the resemblance of John Thompson’s stature.

Haha, interesting assignment. I like the poem. You should send it to Healy 2 and see what they have to say about it. ;D

Just so you know though, all those players you listed didn't have McDonough as a home court. I think we last played home games at McDonough in 1982. So Sleepy had McDonough and Ewing and Freddy Brown did for 1 year. Also, MCI holds 20,600, if it held 12K it would be much, much, much better.

The way we can make this come to be is by healing up the fracture, By getting a new arena with the resemblance of John Thompson’s stature. On the theory that lawyers are grammarians who charge by the hour: There was a day when Georgetown was the leader of the hoops pack, The golden yardstick against which all other programs would lack. Games on-campus at the venerable, already outgrown, but cherished McDonough, Gave "home court" advantage to Ewing, Sleepy, Freddy and Alonzo, Hoya hoops' life was rejuvenated by the likes of A.I. and Mutombo; But McDonough didn't share in the wealth, no rebirth as "New McD a la JUMBO." Fans and players are still off-campus in MCI and seats for 12k; Cheers lost in immensity, no din from student voices no matter how forte. Georgetown fans could be a pack rooting on their Jack the bulldog, But instead, Jack's a distant figure in the immensity and fog. Hoyas need a court that we can truly call our own, A home where J-Green and R-O-Y leave their ‘marc’ as Hoyas famous and known. A larger Hoya home aspires to a future optimistic and proud, Filled with convocations and games that are both welcoming and loud. Sacrifice and faith eke paths dismissed by many as impossible; Let a John Thompson Court by '08 be our "Mission QUITE Possible". Memo to Student: I don't normally like to create a rhyme that relies on using the change-a-prefix-to-derive-an-antonym approach. So it would be better form to change the last two lines. Then, cut and paste and alert me by Inbox, or one of the more ever-present Mods, to erase the tell-tale signs and vestiges of being helped with your project!

On the theory that lawyers are grammarians who charge by the hour: This is poetry. Grammar has no place here. On another note, "my english that class" ? ? What the heck is "english that" ? ? Is that like Catholicism WOW? With the "buddy Shakespeare" ? Sorry, bad jokes all around. Forgive me. I was desperate. I hadn't said anything in a while. To make up for it, if anyone can come up with a good rhyme for "Godwin Owinje" or "Vladimir Bosonac" I've got a beer with your name on it.

Lol. sorry. I am only 15 so give me some help there, but we had to do an assignment in something wrong in society and I have loved GTOWN since like 3 so I thought this was the perfect thing to do. We had to create a poem so I thought this fit in perfectly. We have to then send them to a certain company to see if they will publish it so I am sending it to the Washington Post, but it will take a long time to get there since I am in Pittsburgh. But, just thanks alot for the feedback.

Another beer goes to the board member who can point out the last meaningful, non-inane post I made on HoyaTalk. I think it was last March, and it was entitled, "Why is everybody so mad at this Esherick guy? He's a lifelong Hoya, give him a break!" 15, huh? Stay away from my nieces, buddy! God, I wish I was 15 again. I'd have 20 whole years to dread and fear and cower away from, rather than 20 whole years to regret.

Try to contact Barker Davis at the Washington Times. See if he can give you any good quotes.

Ummmm, Boz, I want that beer but honesty must trump my craven alcoholic desires. I wish to point out that your "streak" of all-inane, all-the-time, is perfect. You have posted NO meaningful thoughts in your entire history at HoyaTalk (old and new). And we would have it NO OTHER WAY! Cheers to BOZ! (Lifting beer paid for by self, to toast.)

Damn! I have no answer to that, although it does sound from your characterization that I am finally prepped to become a grossly overpaid guest analyst on any of the cable news shows. Woo-hoo! "Mr. Boz, are you calling our previous guest a liar?" "Well, Kent, I do have this footage of him with his pants on fire. . ."

Receptionist: Mr. Boz, there's some guy named George calling for you on Line 3.
Boz [pushing away from computer where he's been dawdling on HT] : Does he have a last name? What's he want? I'm kind of busy here.
Receptionist [annoyed at being diverted from e-Bay auction action in waning minutes before sparkling 3-carat cubic zirconium ring is about to be sold to highest bidder]: Brody's Hammer or Bodyslammer, something like that.
Boz: Hello, I'm sorry. My receptionist didn't quite catch your name. Who is this?
George Bodenheimer: My name is George, and after watching your intriguing video of Quin Snyder flambe, I'm calling to find out if you might be interested in joining our little enterprise here at ABC/ESPN.
Boz: Huh? REALLY?
OK, Boz .......... now write the rest of your own script. If Dennis Miller can morph (uh, briefly) into a sports commentator ...... then so can you!
