Good energy Hoyas, keep it up!
JTIII was really giving it to the refs after the final buzzer of the half, only stopped when one started to pick up his whistle as if threatening to T him up.

Three things I like:
1. Feeding the bigs and they're attacking.
2. LJs attack off the dribble.
3. DSR appearing to be content to distribute. With one exception, he is drawing a lot of attention and instead of forcing it, is making good decisions and kicking it out for an open, set shooter. Punishing them for double and triple teaming him. Love it.

best offensive half of basketball this season. hopefully, the team has finally turned the corner. Offensive? That half was all defense. Solid offensively too but the biggest improvement that half was on the other end of the floor. I have my doubts of how we hold up in the second half. I expect a very close game at the end. Need to stay confident though. |

One thing I've noticed today is that while we are taking 3s, we are passing any up that aren't wide open. No quick triggers, but resets and passes for better looks. We have good shooters, so this is a nice strategy, and it only works if you are willing to drive and pass it inside during the possession. So far, so good!
