One more time for 2015. 1st quarter series:

HC 14-0 7:51 1st Georgetown: Three plays, -18 yards, has to call a time out on the 4th down punt. Holy Cross: Seven plays, 55 yards, 32 yd. pass. HC 21-0 2:38 1st Georgetown: Six plays, nets eight yards after Nolan's 3rd sack of the quarter. Punt returned to midfield.

The team looks lethargic.

Holy Cross is playing for Gilmore's job today....this could get ugly.

Georgetown looks like it doesn't want to be there. No energy on either side of the ball.

2nd quarter series:
Holy Cross: Four plays, 54 yards. Too easy. HC 28-0 13:25 2nd. Georgetown: Three and out, punt. Holy Cross: Six plays, punt to G10. Georgetown: 15 plays to HC 25, opt for FG (?), low and short. 1:31 2nd. Holy Cross: Ten plays to G5, field goal. HC 31-0 0:19 2nd. Georgetown: Two plays, halftime. 31-0.
As poor a half as anything since the Kevin Kelly era.

This was really a game Gilmore HAD to have....he had lost 4 of 5 to the Hoyas, this will give HC their first winning season in 5 years etc etc....perfect storm for a blow-out.

A decided lack of execution, most since game one, when the Ty Williams injury took the air out of that game.
Other than the fact that's he's a senior, why was Kyle Nolan in that game after halftime? No need to see Tim Barnes et al. get some sustained run in this game before next spring?
Here's what Georgetown has to fill in 2016 on offense:
--A three year starting QB (Nolan). --Its leading running back (Kimpela) and 76% of their rushing stats. --Two of its top three receivers (DeCicco, Glor)

This made me miss the days when we'd switch QBs every game.
Under Sgarlata, the defense has carried on admirably, but we have had 1) bad quarterback play, so it's hard to really judge the offense as a whole and 2) unfathomably bad special teams play.
