we're gonna need to rebound ferociously tomorrow. wisconsin got their share of 2nd chances, but not sure that they took advantage of it. tomorrow could be a different story, so let's make sure govan/hayes/derrickson box out and copeland/kaleb sky high for the boards.

If Hoyas can avoid putting Duke in the bonus early in each half and keep FT disparity to a minimum, I think the teams are evenly matched and GU should win tomorrow.

Please, PLEASE let us win this one. I was foolish to choose to spend my life with a Duke grad. A win on Sunday won't stop the ribbing I get for this past March, but it may give me a little peace. I have to wonder - did she slap the floor before coming to bed on your wedding night?? Just flopped backwards hilariously.

Allens move is to drive by guards where he can get two athletic steps and finish over defenders. kU did a good job of collapsing but not fouling.
Unfortunately, if Peak continues to foul by putting his body on guards when they try to dribble past like he did these past few games, it will be a short night for him. He needs to play smart.

I mean Duke looked good but they don't have an Okafor or Jabari Parker this year from what I saw so I think they are beatable. Yes, win or lose...1 o'clock which is the better of the two television time slots.

Hopefully since he is practicing with the team in that video Paul will be able to give 6-8 mins tomorrow. We need him bad just for decision making purposes.

Duke seems to "missing" something; ripe for the Hoyas to take a tough win. But they MUST communicate on defense. So far, also, this team hasn't been shooting it particularly well. GU also seems to be missing something - hopefully it's Paul White, but I'd bet it has to do with the guards...GU needs someone (or two) to step up and be a STUD. At least for THIS team as it's assembled.

Here's hoping Paul White can give some time at point forward tomorrow particularly if DSR has foul trouble again. I think Kaleb would be even more useful playing guard with Peak if White was there to lend a hand and help direct the offense.

I'd love for Hayes to dominate Plumlee tomorrow. I think he opened a lot of eyes in the MD game, but he could really start people talking if he put in another big performance.
Tough matchup for the Hoyas imo, regardless of Duke's ranking. They have a lot of guards who like to penetrate and score which seems to be the Hoyas kryptonite. DSR and Peak are going to have their hands full. Hopefully Johnson can give the backcourt a lot of help tomorrow. The game hasn't slowed down for Johnson yet... but I can see why he received praise for his defense. He is a terrific athlete and the sky is the limit on his ceiling.

I was really surprised to hear that we play at 1. As I understand it, Duke as a condition insisted on the early game. Like the match up. We have a chance. 1pm was always the championship game. If VCU beat Duke, the Blue Devils would've been playing the late game.

Looking like we'll have to do this without Paul White again.

Looking like we'll have to do this without Paul White again. We are going to be a force if we are ever fully healthy.

Looking like we'll have to do this without Paul White again. Better to make sure he is 100% before we run him out there. This is definitely a team that could have a long run in March if we have everybody healthy.

Two predictions:
1. Grayson Allen will become the next Dookie who people love to hate, and he will be completely overrated by the announcers today (and the rest of the year).
2. Duke and Wisconsin always outpace their opponents in terms of fouls committed and free throws attempted. Wisconsin did not perform up to their usual standards in the 2nd half on Friday; Duke will not have this same problem. Duke will have more FTM than GU has FTA, and we will be amazed about how the new rules are not applied equally today by the refs.

The slap to the floor is coming at any time...
