That's good news that he came back after being there Saturday as well. Seems like there's some real interest.

Quick Shots --Huntington Prep (W.Va.) 2016 G Curtis Jones took home MVP honors for Team Inspiration in the underclassman game, dropping 30 points in a losing effort, hitting four 3-pointers as part of his game-high effort. The 6-3 guard, who plays with Boo Williams (Va.) on the EYBL circuit, listed offers from Georgetown, Maryland, Indiana, Missouri, NC State, West Virginia, among others, and said he’s also been talking to Florida and Miami. The native of Richmond, Va., said the idea of staying in the D.C./Virginia area certainly appeals to him, but he’s open to going elsewhere; expect him to cut his list down in August before taking official visits, but he doesn’t have any specific plans beyond that. www.cityofbasketballlove.com/news_article/show/520689?referrer_id=1566508

Curtis Jones, 6-3, G, Huntington Prep (WV), 2016 Jones dropped 30 points in a losing effort, but was named MVP for Team Inspiration in the Underclassmen Game. As a combo guard, Jones is able to man both positions, but seems most comfortable when he scoring the ball. He possesses great size, and quickness to get by his defender, but also has a J to keep defenses honest (nailed 4 triples). Jones also possesses good body control that allows him to avoid defenders in midair while finishing at the rim. His senior year will be even more disastrous for his opponents once he adds muscle. Programs such as Georgetown, Indiana, Wake Forest, Maryland, and Xavier are in pursuit Read more at www.slamonline.com/media/slam-tv/2015-mary-kline-classic-standouts-video/#bIr7YUpUzAwBvujQ.99

Mark Turgeon is apparently cooling a little on him and focusing elsewhere for now. Seemed like he was Maryland's to lose, and unless UNC or Louisville get involved, Georgetown is in a good spot.

UNC is on the hot seat right now. Seems like sanctions may be coming sooner than later

Get this kid, Bracey, and SKJ and that'd be a very strong class IMO

www.bigeastcoastbias.com/2015/6/7/8741415/georgetown-hoyas-recruiting-curtis-jones-2016"It was a great visit. I got to talk coach John Thompson III and he told me how they do things, and they get people better. With the roster they have, I will be able to come in and play a lot," Jones said of the Georgetown visit. \ Assistant Kevin Broadus is recruiting the guard, he told Big East Coast Bias. Jones likes the team Georgetown has this year and his friend Marcus Derrickson, who he played high school basketball with at Paul IV in Fairfax, is a Hoyas commit and he wants to see how he will play. Jones is confident in his former teammate's abilities and believes he will succeed at the college level as a freshman. Georgetown and the Maryland Terrapins are recruiting him at the same time, which certainly draws up an intriguing storyline. The Hoyas and the Terps are the two local ‘powerhouses' in the area, and will of course be playing in a much-anticipated encounter this fall. But this doesn't appear to faze Jones. "Not necessarily. It's not all about who is recruiting me the longest, it is about the best fit." Whatever the case, it's clear that Jones is ready for whatever comes next in his DMV-based pursuit.

Curtis Jones (4*, 40 overall)- Curtis Jones is a combo guard from Huntington Prep in West Virginia and is a consensus 4* recruit. If you have heard of Huntington Prep before, it probably was back when Andrew Wiggins was getting recruited out of there a few years back as the #1 prospect in the country. Jones might not be as highly hyped as Wiggins coming out of the program, but the kid can flat out play. He’s a quick guard who likes to play fast and attack the rim, but also can pull up and has a nice mid-range and three point shot as well. Jones reminds me of Codi Miller-McIntyre coming out of high school in the way he attacks the rim fearlessly and is an excellent finisher around the basket, though he has a slightly thinner frame and maybe more of an outside jumper than CMM did. At the most recent Mary Kline Classic underclassmen game, he won MVP honors after putting up 30 points against some high quality competition. Maryland looks to be the favorite for him at the moment, but Wake Forest still seems to be hanging around as a school he is interested in. We will know a lot more about how realistic a chance Wake has at landing Jones by the end of the summer, but at the moment we are in the running. www.bloggersodear.com/2015/6/8/8745633/2016-wake-forest-basketball-recruiting-shooting-guards-curtis-jones-kwe-parker-eli-wright

In a Rivals article Jones mentioned that Florida(new HC) calls him more than anyone so look out for them as well..

www.vantagehoops.com/news_article/show/523241?referrer_id=1102873Boo Williams EYBL Record: 10-12 Notable Wins: Team Loaded Virginia, Pro Skills, Team Final
Quote on a player from the Coach: "Curt Jones was our best player. He found ways to score and produce no matter how much the opposing team keyed on him." - Assistant Jack Meriwether
Vantage Breakdown: This team lacks the dominant interior presence that past teams have had, but they own a dynamic perimeter group, with Matt Coleman and Curt Jones leading the way. Coleman has legitimized his status as Virginia's #1 2017 prospect, while Jones has established himself as one of American's best shooters. Deshawn Corprew has also had a terrific spring, owning the "utility man" role and consistently producing across multiple categories, while Scott Spencer has seen his stock take a jump, as well. Boo Williams failed to qualify for Peach Jam this year, but a thrilling victory over Team Loaded VA was a signature win, and we'd expect them to win a lot of games in July. HOYAS are making him a priority and are making a strong push. great combo guard that would get and create a ton of good looks for himself in our offense. He's a better athlete than other combos (DSR) and would likely thrive with us. Hopefully he feels the same.

This sounds as if he is ready to commit and has narrowed his list. I also noticed, according to Josh Stirn at 247 Sports, he predicts the Hoyas over everyone else as his future home. One other thing I noticed, Maryland is not one of the three he plans to make an unofficial visit, hmmm!
