It's interesting that Bril, as a Senior, was finally selected to the BE weekly honor roll for the first time in his career. Hard to believe it took this long for him to get that recognition. It seems that it's always about scoring, but it should be about contributing in other intangible ways as well. www.guhoyas.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/030815aaa.html

I was actually wondering how his stats look for a career Hoya. I can't believe he never broke the top 25 in any stat.

He does not get this without that last dunk!
Anyway, a wonderful coda to his Big East regular season career. Hoya Saxa.

Congratulations Jabril This young man is the heart of this team. He is one that I have said has a limited skill set, but I have never and will never question his heart. He bleeds blue and grey and like all the old HOYAS who played for JT2, he understands what the Georgetown brand means. I hope DSR was able to see some things from the bench that you just don't see or comprehend when you are playing in the game yourself. Eventhough the line on Jabril is that you play him for the drive to the basket rather than the jump shot, as the lead pg Saturday, he drove anyway and by doing this set up his teammates for wide open shots or easy put backs. A lot of times DSR has those same openings but refuses to take the ball all the way in to the hoop. I know DSR is not he fleetest of guards, or a high riser, but he does have the handle and strength to get there and absorb the hit by the defender and get the ball upon the rim, or dish off to a teammate. This opens up a lot of things for his teammates as Jabril did and keeps the HOYAS from going into sustained droughts. Unless Peak takes over this role next year, DSR and the team will sorely miss Jabril. As JTIII said, hopefully Jabril has 10 or more games left in a Hoya uniform.

Trawick is a role player, yet still a leader. He plays his role and leads quite well. One thing I love about his play is that when things are a little stagnant on the offensive end, Jabril looks to make something happen, usually by getting into the lane. He's aggressive, and looks to make a play when we need it.

Really glad this group of talented Freshman got to spend a year with a fierce competitor like this kid right here..
I know he was controversial at times but nobody took more pride in putting a Georgetown Jersey on over the last 4 years than this kid. #H4L

His work effort and intensity are wonderful examples for the young guys to emulate, and to pass on to next year's newcomers.

Please pass that handbook to the freshmen and Reggie.
