The truly amazing part is that this process began 16 months ago. In other words, around Thanksgiving 2013, JTIII started thinking about this day. A brand new season is getting underway, you've just you're best player, and you're fighting the NCAA to get this guy a start. I did not think my man crush on JTIII could get any bigger. It has. But does that overcome all of his obvious coaching shortcomings? Nj - put me in the camp that III can do no wrong. Between '07, China, and closing the Carrier Dome, III can do no wrong in my book.

That was so great to see. The look on Tyler's dad's face was absolutely priceless. Hoya Saxa and a big thank you to the Pirates.

Despite the chaos he has going, Willard is now my second favorite BE coach.
And I thought it was nice that Delgado was clapping for Tyler after the dunk.

For all the hand wringing...ESPN has been mentioning this story during Sports Center, both last night and today.
Although they don't talk about the game at all.

Great day for Tyler. Glad he made the dunk easily and didn't get blocked by the rim or something. Just based on that play I think we could have really used him the last 4 years (even this year for depth). He's got decent lift and finishing ability.

Watching Tyler dunk all I could think was DSR, Traws, Porter, Whittington, Adams. What could have been....

In retrospect that was a monster class, especially if everyone had stayed healthy/eligible. Ability wise (although admittedly such a small sample size with Tyler) that was a monster recruiting class.

Yeah I thought it was pretty obvious from Day 1 of Kenner that if they stayed healthy and we had 80% of them all four years they would've made a case for best and most complete class in history.

Thanks for the images YaBoy. Much appreciated. I love that most of the coverage I've seen includes not only that Tyler has a heart condition but also that he's such a great guy that has been the very definition of a teammate. It's nice that he's getting some recognition for his character. Well earned and deserved. Hoya Saxa!
